Chants of "ECW! ECW! ECW!" are heard. Regal interfers. Regal holds Jericho so Tajiri can shoot green mist into Jericho's face. Jericho moves. Regal gets the green mist, Jericho pins. They all begin to bicker.. Angle hugs Vince, Austin hugs Vince.. They seem to be fighting for Vince's friendship. Shane McMahon comes out to the ramp. He announces that the main event for RAW will be a WCW Title match between Booker T and Buff Bagwell. IC TITLE MATCH: Albert vs The Undertaker w/ Sara Dallas Page interfers, hitting Taker with a chair for the DQ. DDP goes after Sara. Sara tries to fight back. Kane comes up behind DDP and attacks him, throws him into the ring with Taker. Taker punches DDP. Albert goes after Taker. Kane gets Albert. DDP escapes. Kane, Taker & Sara celebrate in the ring. COMMISSIONERS OFFICE: Regal/Tajiri/Dudleyz Commissioner Regal gives tips to Tajiri about his match with Scotty Too Hotty tonight. Dudley Boyz enter and ask why they are facing Chris Jericho tonight. XPac hits Christian with the belt, and gets the pin. BACKSTAGE: APA Farooq & Bradshaw conclude that Test is the Mole. They ask a referee if he'd seen Test, he says no, but the last time he say him, he was talking to Booker T. Farooq & Bradshaw go to find Test. WWF NEW YORK: Tazz Tazz is shown, not happy, at WWF NEW YORK. They recap what happened to Tazz on Smackdown when he confronted Steve Austin. MATCH: Rhyno vs Test Winner faces Mike Awesome for WWF Hardcore title at Invasion. APA, Billy Gunn, K-Kwik, Haku, Essa Rios, Raven, Bull Buchanan, Taka, Sho Funaki, Bob Holly, and Jerry Lynn come down and surround the ring. WCW! Jim Ross & Paul Heymen hand the show over to WCW. Shane McMahon's music plays. Shane enters the ring and introduces the Announce Team, Scott Hudson & Arn Anderson. Hudon and Double A are escorted by Stacy Keibler. WCW Referee Nick Patrick is announced. Commissioner Regal comes out and says he is banning Shane McMahon from the building. Security comes out and takes Shane to the back. WCW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: Booker T vs Buff Bagwell Austin & Angle end up attacking Booker, Bagwell joins in. They triple team Booker to the backstage area. BACKSTAGE: Vince & Torrie... Linda!? Torrie brings Vince to the Laundary room. Torrie takes off all of Vince McMahons clothes. Torrie tells Vince to close his eyes for a suprise. Vince opens his eyes and Linda McMahon is standing there! BACKSTAGE: Austin/Angle/Buff/Booker Austin, Angle, and Buff are still beating on Booker.. Undertaker (with Sara) makes an unscheduled appearance, comes to the ring and tells Shane, with all due respect, DDP is HIS tonight. Shane says "ok" and leaves the ring. DDP comes out with a steel chair. A few minutes into the match, Shane McMahon attacks the Undertaker, it was all a trick to get back at the Undertaker. Sara tries to save her husbund by hitting Shane in the back with the Kendo stick, but DDP comes up behind her and gives her the Diamond Cutter. Shane & DDP leave, and backstage Shane tells DDP to take the rest of the night off, DDP leaves on a MotorBike. BACKSTAGE: Taker & Sara Sara is being loaded into an Ambulance. Taker tells Sara that he's gonna get them back for what they did! Taker gets into the ambulance with Sara. TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: Dudleyz vs Acolytes Highlights of Smackdown, explaining how Spike Dudley broke his leg in his match against the Dudley Boyz. The two powerhouse teams brawl for a while. Spike Dudley appears with a crutch and hits Buh Buh in the back of the head. Acolytes take advantage and pick up the win, and the TAG TEAM TITLES. NEW TAG TEAM CHAMPION.. THE ACOLYTES! BACKSTAGE: Vince, Austin, Debra, Angle Vince is going over everything that has already happened tonight, and Austin is repeating everything Vince says. Vince looks a little annoyed. Kurt Angle enters the room wearing his little cowboy hat from Smackdown, he has presents. Kurt gives presents to Vince & Austin. They open them and find that they are little Badges to go with the Cowboy hats Austin gave them on Smackdown. Austin gets annoyed and says that Angle looked like a jackass on Smackdown when Booker kicked his ass.. Austin said if it were him he'd go down to Booker's lockerroom right now and challange him for a WCW title match. Angle agree and says that is what he is going to do. [PHOTO] IC TITLE MATCH: Albert w/ XPac vs Rhyno Albert and XPac come out together and gang up on Rhyno. XPac leaves the ring, and the match starts. Later in the match, XPac gets in the ring to interfer, but Rhyno gores him. Rhyno gets up and turns around and gets a kick in the face by Albert for the 1, 2, 3. Winner.. Albert! BACKSTAGE: Booker T & Kurt Angle Booker T is shown warming up in his locker room. Kurt Angle busts in. Angle introduces himself to Booker. Booker introduces himself to Angle. Angle challenges Booker to a match for the WCW Title tonight. Booker says if Angle wants a fight, then he'll get one. Booker says that with Angle wearing that little cowboy hat last week on Smackdown, how does he expect to beat Booker T. Angle replies with "Yepii Kai-Yay.. Muther Hubbert". BACKSTAGE: Regal, Tajiri, Kane Kane bursts into Regal's office and demands that his match with Mike Awesome and Lance Storm stays on, even though his tag team partner, Undertaker, is not there. Regal accepts. MATCH: Jeff Hardy vs The Big Show Trish Stratus comes to the ring. Big Show dominates and wins. Trish gets in the ring and helps Jeff to his feet, and gives him a big kiss on the lips. BACKSTAGE: Vince, Austin, Angle, Debra, Jericho Angle is shown warming up for his match in front of Vince & Austin. Vince tells Angle that this match is extremely important for everybody. Austin asks about the WWF vs WCW brawl at InVasion. Austin volunteers to be the Captain of Team WWF. Angle says that he things he should be Camptain. Angle and Austin bicker over who should be the "Skipper" and who should be "Gilligan". Vince yells at them both and says that they will both be in it fighting for WWF. Jericho comes in and says that he is WWF-4-Life, and he wants to be on Team WWF too. Vince looks impressed. But Austin and Angle tell Jericho that since he's never won the WWF Title, to take a hike. RINGSIDE: Announcement Jim Ross & Paul Heyman announce a Bra & Panties match for InVasion between Torrie Wilson & Stacey Keibler vs Trish Stratus & Lita. WWF NEW YORK: Matt Hardy & Lita Ross asks Lita about the Bra & Panties Match. Lita says she accepts but isn't sure she can trust Trish. Lita says she is going to show Trish how it's done, and she kiss's Matt Hardy. BACKSTAGE: Booker T & Shane McMahon Shane McMahon is giving Booker T a pep-talk. Booker has his World Title & his US Title. Says that they are in Atlanta, where WCW was created and everybody out there is routing for Booker. BACKSTAGE: Vince, Austin, Angle Vince McMahon is giving Kurt Angle a pep-talk, Austin is repeating everything Vince says. Austin says that he and Vince are going to the ring too. Angle says that Austin & Vince weren't there in 1996 when he won the Gold Medels, so he is going to do this alone too. WCW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: Booker T vs Kurt Angle Shane McMahon hits Kurt Angle right in front of WCW Referee Nick Patrick, and Patrick does nothing. Angle gets the ankle lock on Booker, Nick Patrick reverts his attention to Shane McMahon. Booker taps but Ref doesn't see it. Angle hits the Angle slam and covers Booker, WWF Referee Earl Hebner comes down and makes the count, but is pulled out of the ring at 2, by Nick Patrick. Patrick enters the ring, Earl jumps back in and spears Nick Patrick and punches him.. They brawl on the outside. Shane McMahon gives Booker the WCW Title, and he hits Angle with it. Charles Robinson, another WCW Referee, comes in and makes the three count for the WCW win! Hebner, Patrick, Jack Doan, Charles Robinson are still brawling, as Booker & Shane make their getaway. BACKSTAGE: Vince, Austin, Angle Vince asks what happened out there? Angle asks them where they were? Austin says Angle told them to stay back there, but Angle says he didn't mean it. Austin says that is why he should be Captain of Team WWF, and Angle agrees. BACKSTAGE: Scott Hudson, Stacey Keibler, Torrie Wilson Scott Hudson congradulates the two girls for making an impact so far. Scott asks Stacey about the Bra & Panties Match. Scott asks Torrie about making Mr. McMahon look like a fool last week. BACKSTAGE: APA, Dudleyz APA Apoligizes to the Dudleyz saying that they never want to win a match like that, they had no idea Spike would do what he did. MATCH: Kane vs Mike Awesome & Lance Storm Chris Jericho comes out and joins Kane in the match. Above Average lenth match.. After a long match, Tommy Dreamer & Rob Van Dam come out of the crowd and attack Kane & Chris Jericho! Awesome, Storm, Van Dam, Dreamer gang up on Kane & Jericho. WWF Troops: Tazz, Dudleyz, Raven, Justin Credible, Rhyno, hit the ring and back Dreamer and Van Dam off, but they turn around and attack Kane & Jericho instead! It slowly becomes clear to everyone around, we are witnessing the REBIRTH OF EC'F'N'W! Paul Heyman leaves the announce position and hits the ring, and grabs the mic. He says for months he has been sitting at the announce table like a corporate sellout talking about WWF vs WCW, but everybody forgot about ECW. He says that they will take on both WWF and WCW! Because this InVasion just went to a whole new LEVEL. BACKSTAGE: Vince & Shane McMahon Vince & Shane meet up backstage, Shane says that he and Vince have to work together to get rid of ECW. Shane suggests that since there are 10 ecw guys, that they take 5 wcw guys and 5 wwf guys and put them against the 10 ecw guys. Vince agrees to this for ONE MATCH, and then WCW is going down. WWF LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: XPac vs Scotty Too Hotty XPac wins by holding the ropes in the pin. BACKSTAGE: Vince, Shane, 5 WCW Guys, 5 WWF Guys. Before the ECW guys even come out, the WWF guys and WCW guys get in a fight, the WWF guys throw the WCW guys out of the ring. ECW comes to the ring from the crowd. ECW takes on the 5 wwf guys, and they throw them out of the ring. ECW taunts WCW into the ring, and as WCW gets into the ring, they high five eachother and hug eachother.. ECW AND WCW are together! The 15 guys continue to kick the crap out of the WWF guys, as Vince McMahon comes to the ramp and asks what the hell is going on. Shane explains that he could not compete with Vince's checkbook, but he would outsmark Vince, and that is what he did tonight. Shane says he has just orchestrated the merger of WCW and ECW.. Tajiri asks to do commentary on Regal's match. Regal says he'd be honored. BACKSTAGE: Steph, Shane, Heyman. The trio talk about InVasion. They agree that their "Team" will be Booker, DDP, Dudley Boyz & Rhyno. Shane says that this Sunday @ InVasion, the "face of sports-entertainment will be changed forever. THE FRIENDLY TAP: Steve Austin, Debra, Vince McMahon. Steve Austin is still sitting at the bar, depressed. Vince McMahon enters the bar and is greeted by Debra. Vince apoligizes to Austin but says he really needs him right now. Austin doesnt say a word. MATCH: William Regal vs Tazz Tajiri takes his announce position. A few minutes into the match, Tajiri enters the ring. He cicles the ring, and removes his shirt to reveal an ECW SHIRT!! He points at Tazz, signalling him to attack Regal.. who is stunned by Tajiri's turn. Tajiri turns on Tazz, putting him in the turanchula, while Regal punches him repeatedly in the head. Tajiri removes the shirt and spits green mist onto it! Tajiri IS WWF! BACKSTAGE: DDP & Rhyno DDP meets up with Rhyno in the back. They talk about their match tonight. DDP tells Rhyno to round up the boys because he has an unedited/uncencored tape of Sara to show. THE FRIENDLY TAP: Austin, Tim White. WCW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: Booker T vs Chris Jericho Before the match, JR compares Booker T to Ric Flair, saying "He's no Ric Flair, a proud champion.." Late in the match, Jericho has the pin on Booker, but referee Nick Patrick fakes an arm cramp so he cannot count the three. Jericho gets Booker into the Lion Tamer, but the Referee fakes a leg cramp so he doesnt see Booker tapping. Earl Hebner comes in and pushes Patrick out of the ring and sees Booker tapping, Hebner goes to call for the bell but Shane McMahon stops him. Booker gets up and low blows Jericho and rolls him up, Nick Patrick comes in for the quick 1-2-3, and Booker escapes yet again with his WCW Title. BACKSTAGE: Terri, Perry Saturn, The Mop, Paul Heyman Terri tells Perry that she thinks he should stay away from the ring tonight during her match with Trish. Perry is unresponsive. Paul Heyman comes in and sits down with Saturn. Heyman says, "What's a Solar System without Saturn, what's ECW without Perry Saturn?" Heyman asks Perry to join ECW. Perry's reply is "Snaaussages...." Heyman says he'll take that one back to Stephanie. You're Welcome........ ECW RULES MATCH: Raven vs Kurt Angle. Angle makes Raven tap to the Anklelock. After the match, Angle puts Raven in two different submission moves to torture him. Then Angle gets a chair and beats Raven with it. Chris Kanyon, Shawn Stasiak & Justin Credible come down. Kanyon gets a chairshot and Stasiak & Credible don't want to get into the ring. Kanyon gets another brutal chairshot to the back, and then Angle chases off Credible & Stasiac. Farooq & Bradshaw each talk about not letting the WCW invade what they have worked so hard to build. Vince says that he had hoped Austin would be there.... but Undertaker butts in and says he's heard enough of that.. Taker says that Stone Cold has made quite a name for himself in the WWF, and he's not willing to stand up and fight for the company that made him. Taker says to the boys, "There's no shame in fightin and getting your ass kicked, but there's no honor in not fighting at all". At the moment, WWF Legend and Hall of Famer, Classy Freddy Blassie, is wheeled into the room in a wheelchair. Storm makes the cover to win the WWF IC TITLE!! The ring fills up with WWF and WCW/ECW wrestlers in a huge brawl that ends with the WWF troops standing tall in the end. The APA give Kurt Angle a beer and tell him to try it. Angle gulps it down and says "it's actually pretty good, when did they start makin' this?" MATCH: The Undertaker vs Rhyno. DDP comes down to the ring and chases Sara. The Undertaker gets the pin on Rhyno and chases DDP away from Sara. They brawl into the crowd. Taker brings DDP back to the ring, and gets a chair. Sara starts kicking DDP in the chest repeatedly, Taker has to physically pull her off. Taker goes to hit DDP with the chiar, but DDP pulls Sara in the way, and Taker accidentally hits Sara with the chair. POST-COMMERCIAL: Undertaker & Sara The Undertaker is shown carrying Sara around backstage. He tells everyone to stay away. Elsewhere, Jonathan Coachman asks DDP why he did what he did. DDP says that seeing the pain in Sara's eyes actually turned him on. DDP got into a car and drove off. MATCH: Chris Jericho vs Chris Kanyon Jericho comes down and trashes Kanyon on the mic. Kurt says that he is more than happy about the Rock coming back. Anybody that will help the WWF against the WCW/ECW Invasion. But Kurt says that Vince needs a leader, someone with the 3 I's, he says that Vince needs Kurt Angle. Vince says that sometimes "actions speak louder than words". So Kurt Angle grabs Vince by the collar and pins him agaisnt the wall and says "How is this for actions?". WWF NEW YORK: Big Show, Billy Gunn. Billy Gunn says that even with all of their accomplishments, the WWF still doenst show them any respect. Big Show agrees. They talk about "making" the company respect them. BACKSTAGE: Jeff Hardy, Torrie Wilson, Trish Startus. Torrie Wilson approaches Jeff Hardy and asks how he was after his match last night against RVD. Jeff said that his back is sore. Torrie says that he has a spanking match later and hoping she could get a little practice. Trish comes in and attacks Torrie. SPANKING MATCH: Trish Stratus vs Torrie Wilson. A Paddle is placed on a pole. Trish makes it to the paddle first. Torrie gets the paddle from Trish and spanks Trish's behind to get the win. BACKSTAGE: Shane, Dudleyz, Booker, Austin, Steph, Heyman. Kurt Angle angleslams Booker onto a table but it doesn't break. He sets the table up in the corner and throws Booker through it. It's down to Kurt Angle & Bubba Ray Dudley. Referee Earl Hebner is knocked out. WCW Referee Nick Patrick comes down. Angle sets up Bubba for the Angleslam through the table, but Nick Patrick moves the table. Angle attacks Patrick and slaps the Anklelock on him on the Announcers Table. Steve Austin comes down and attacks Angle, and throws him in the ring, where Bubba puts him through a table. Tazz took the mic and told "Mr. Dreamer" to escort "Mr. Cole" to the backstage area, so that the message of the Alliance can finally be spread. Tazz then told "Mr. Heyman" that his seat next to J.R. was available, thanks to ECW owner Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley! Tazz continued by saying that tonight will be a historic night for the Alliance because two things were going to happen: First, Booker T will "yank" the WCW Title from Kurt Angle and bring it back to the Alliance. Second, The Rock will join the Alliance -- and Tazz personally guaranteed it! Before Tazz could continue, the entrance of Chris Jericho interrupted him! Y2J told the people that he was sick and tired of hearing Tazz's voice, and told Tazz to "Shut the hell up!" Jericho added that he knew Tazz had a big head because he was the star of "WWF Tough Enough," but Tazz was really better suited to be the star of MTV's "Jackass! MATCH: Tazz vs Chris Jericho Tazz hooks Jericho into the Tazzmission 20 seconds into the match! But Jericho escaped with a low blow, and executed the Lionsault to def eat Tazz in under a minute! BACKSTAGE: Vince McMahon, Commissioner Regal, Tajiri. Mr. McMahon had just finished decorating The Rock's dressing room with Rock paraphernalia when Commissioner Regal and Tajiri walked in -- with Tajiri carrying pies. Mr. McMahon told Regal that he did not want The Rock feel that he was sucking up to him, and noted that Tajiri had a chance to bring back the Hardcore Championship to the Federation. Regal then explained why he brought the different variety of pies -- because The Rock likes pie so much. Mr. McMahon told the Commissioner that although he had good thoughts, The Rock liked a different kind of pie! Furthermore, one of the pies was missing a slice. With a raise of his eyebrow, Tajiri revealed he ate the pie by opening his mouth to show the chewed up pieces! HARDCORE TITLE MATCH: Rob Van Dam vs Tajiri Tajiri executed a baseball slide against two steel chairs stacked up against RVD's face! Van Dam then set up a chair on a prone Tajiri, and nailed the Five Star Frog Splash to get the win and retain the Hardcore Championship! BACKSTAGE: Shane, Steph, Austin. Shane McMahon, Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley and Stone Cold Steve Austin were also planning a party for The Rock, complete with balloons, Rock merchandise and Debra's special cookies! WCW official Nick Patrick then informed everyone that The Rock's limo was on its way to the arena. When everyone left, Austin told a concerned Booker T to not worry about The Rock, to instead worry about his rematch with WCW Champion Kurt Angle later that night and to make an example of him. Booker then tried one of Debra's cookies -- and they almost made him sick! BACKSTAGE: Vince McMahon, Big Show. Mr. McMahon told someone that he'd be right back because he was expecting The Rock. The Big Show then approached Mr. McMahon with some marketing ideas concerning his T-shirt and the Showgunns tag team. Mr. McMahon tried to explain that he was in a hurry, but Show persisted and shared his ideas, including the name "Big Gunns." Mr. McMahon told Show that he did not care if he and Billy Gunn called themselves Double Trouble Crap on a Stick, he had to go. Show said that he loved the idea of he and Gunn being called Double Trouble! RINGSIDE: JR & Heyman. Paul Heyman explained why he was back working with J.R. -- to provide the Alliance with a voice and spread the word. BACKSTAGE: Michael Cole, Kurt Angle. Michael Cole interviewed WCW Champion Kurt Angle before his no-disqualification rematch with Booker T. Angle explained that Mary Lou Retton called him the other day, and said that she was so inspired by his win last week on SmackDown! that she showed herself to the world the other day. Angle then said that he's simply better than Booker, and that he never understood why a man would cry after he loses! Angle added that he's also a better athlete, competitor and even a better singer than Stone Cold Steve Austin -- and challenged him to a Federation Title match at SummerSlam! PARKING LOT: Shane, Stephanie, Vince. Shane and Stephanie were anxiously waiting for The Rock before Mr. McMahon joined them and argued with his children over which side The Rock would join. Then the limo pulled up, and the McMahons rushed it with excitement. But it was Kanyon who stepped out of the limo and not the Great One! All the WCW U.S. Champion could do was stand bewildered after everyone walked away disappointed! INTER-GENDER TAG TEAM MATCH: M.Hardy/Lita vs Helms/Torrie Helms and Wilson nearly stole the match after they hit Lita with a double suplex. Lita recovered to tag in Hardy, who worked over Helms and teamed with Lita to nail Poetry in Motion to both Helms and Wilson! After a Lita hurriconrada, Matt covered Helms but Wilson broke up the count. Hardy then took down Helms with the Twist of Fate, but then walked into a Torrie low blow! Helms capitalized to earn the win for his team! LOCKER ROOM: Stone Cold, Booker T. Stone Cold continued to fire up Booker T, telling him he did not have any gold. Booker then rubbed his stomach and complained he felt 10 pounds heavier. Austin said he felt like that because of the "stupid" cookies he ate. Austin explained the last time he ate them he crapped for three days straight, before reminding Booker to make an example of Angle and bring back the WCW Championship to the Alliance! WWF NEW YORK: Test. J.R. then interviewed Test, live from WWF New York. Test said that although he was once angry about getting beat up after being accused about being the mole, and that Shane McMahon was a friend of his, he confirmed that his loyalty was with the Federation! Test then wished Angle luck against Booker T and expressed hope that The Rock would return to the Federation! WCW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: Kurt Angle vs Booker T. Members of the Alliance suddenly took advantage of the no disqualification rule by attacking the champion. After Rhyno nearly broke Angle in half following a Gore, members of the Federation emptied the locker room came to Angle's aid by attacking the Alliance members while Booker and Shane McMahon hid from view. Officials frantically tried to separate the Federation and Alliance troops as RAW went to break. When RAW returned, Booker T attacked a weakened Angle just before the official start of the match. Angle suddenly reached back for that something extra and nailed Booker with a belly-to-back suplex. After Shane McMahon distracted the champion, Booker floored Angle with a superkick. Booker continued to work over Angle with a series of vicious chops and kicks, and nearly pinned Angle on a few occasions. Another belly-to-back suplex brought Angle back into the match. In the midst of Angle's rally, footage of Federation and Alliance members brawling in the back was shown. Booker grabbed a chair, but Angle fought back with punches, elbows and a German suplex. After missing his first attempt, Angle scored with the Olympic Slam and locked on the Ankle Lock! That prompted Stone Cold Steve Austin to hit the ring. Angle chased him away but accidentally knocked down referee Earl Hebner. Booker hit his scissors kick and covered Angle, while Shane waved WCW referee Charles Robinson to the ring and count to three -- but Angle kicked out! Angle then knocked out Robinson and hit another Olympic slam on Booker, but Austin Stunned Angle, and Shane threw a dazed Hebner in the ring. Hebner counted out Angle, and Booker regained the WCW Championship! An angry Angle then ran after the Federation Champion as Shane and Booker celebrated in the middle of the ring! The fighting continued backstage while Austin ran past it in an effort to escape from Kurt Angle. Austin then climbed in his truck and drove away! Elsewhere, an incensed Angle ran into Debra, who was carrying a plate of cookies. Debra said that she made the cookies for The Rock. Angle told Debra that he was going to do what Austin did not have the guts to tell her -- her cookies suck and her husband sucks too. Angle demanded that Debra tell him that when he sees Austin in the ring, to consider a cookie one of Austin's ankles. Angle then broke the cookie in half! TAG TEAM MATCH: Edge/Christian vs Storm/Kanyon Lance Storm is the WWF Intercontinental Champion, and Chris Kanyon is the WCW US Champion. Storm told E & C that nobody enjoys a good party like he does, but their shenanigans left Storm no choice but to... before he could finish, Edge & Christian attacked Storm. A Kanyon Flatliner to Edge on the U.S. belt won the match for he and Storm. Kanyon/Storm win the match. LOCKER ROOM: The Alliance, Kurt Angle. In the Alliance locker room, the Alliance was celebrating Booker T's win when Kurt Angle attacked. Angle then chased Booker out of the room. BACKSTAGE: Vince McMahon, Commissioner Regal. An upset Mr. McMahon was pacing in The Rock's dressing room angry about Kurt Angle's loss to Booker T when Commissioner Regal informed him that The Rock was on his way -- in the car which Mr. McMahon sent for him. TITLE VS TITLE: XPac vs Billy Kidman. WCW Cruiserweight Champion Billy Kidman. Federation Light-Heavyweight Champion X-Pac. Kidman threw X-Pac into the ring post. Kidman ascended the top rope but missed a splash. X-Pac hit a couple of spinning heel kicks and executed a powerbomb, but Kidman kicked out at two. After an X-Pac BroncoBuster, X-Pac went upstairs, but Kidman countered an X-Pac leap with a dropkick. With the two perched at the top rope, X-Pac hit the XFactor from off the top to win the match and unify the Federation Light-Heavyweight Title and the WCW Cruiserweight Title! PARKING LOT: Vince, Regal, Steph, Shane. Commissioner Regal and Mr. McMahon were waiting for The Rock when Shane and Stephanie arrived to wait for him too. The limo with the "Rock 1" license plate -- the same limo that Mr. McMahon sent to pick up The Rock -- pulled up, but inside was Howard Finkel! The Fink explained that he couldn't understand Mr. McMahon's directions! The McMahon children accused their father of kissing The Rock's ass and told them he'd meet the Great One in the ring. Mr. McMahon agreed that it was a good idea that he'd meet Rock in the ring as well -- after admonishing Finkel for his screwup! Once Mr. McMahon left, Commissioner Regal said he'd keep a look out for The Rock. BAcKSTAGE: Dudley Boyz Bubba Ray said that if the opportunity arises, Sara is going through a table! The Dudleys speculated where Sara may be during the match, and if Sara may actually be safe! OUTSIDE: The Rock. Outside the First Union Center, The Rock looked up at the famous statue of Rocky Balboa. The Great One then turned to the camera, took off his sunglasses, and raised the People's Eyebrow! TAG TEAM TABLES MATCH: Kane/Taker vs Dudley Boyz. Armed with a table, D-Von and Bubba Ray Dudley walked down the ramp for their Tag Team Table match against the Undertaker and Kane -- who had Sara beside them at ringside. Taker was about to chokeslam D-Von through a table until WCW official Nick Patrick moved it out of the way. Then, Diamond Dallas Page jumped in, hit Taker with a low blow, and set up Sara to go through the table! Sara tried to fight it, but Bubba Ray was about to give her wood, until Taker grabbed Bubba Ray by the throat and chokeslammed him through the table from the top rope to win the match! Immediately afterward, DDP ran for his life! Winners: Brothers of Destruction. BAcKSTAGE: Vince McMahon. Mr. McMahon was seen speaking on his cell phone telling someone to make sure The Rock had everything he needed, because this was going to be big! Shane and Stephanie were also headed ringside, and in the parking lot, The Rock stepped out of his car and entered the First Union Center serenaded by flash photography! Finally... it was time for The Rock to make his big decision. IN THE RING: Vince, Shane, Steph, The Rock. First, Mr. McMahon entered the ring, followed by WCW owner Shane McMahon and ECW owner Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley, all with the same goal in mind. Then, out came The Rock to a thunderous ovation! Would he return to the Federation? Would he join the Alliance? Or would The People's Champion just go back home? Shane spoke first, taking The Rock down memory lane by reminding him that he was screwed by Mr. McMahon the last time he was in the Federation. Shane took Rock back to RAW the day after WrestleMania, when Mr. McMahon screwed him while he competed in a Steel Cage match, and to WrestleMania, where before 67,000 people, the Federation chairman also screwed The Rock. Shane went even further back, to WrestleMania 2000, where Mr. McMahon screwed him too. Shane warned Rock that if he should return to the Federation, Mr. McMahon would screw him over and over again! Mr. McMahon then spoke, admitting that Shane's view was distorted but somewhat accurate, and also admitting that it was a very bad decision for him to back Stone Cold Steve Austin at Rock's expense. Mr. McMahon would not offer an apology, saying it was too empty-handed, but if The Rock returned to the Federation, Mr. McMahon would have no intention of screwing him again -- except if it was the right thing for business. In short, Rock was getting the truth from the devil he knew, instead of the devils he didn't know. Mr. McMahon concluded that he would work to earn back Rock's trust. Rock may never trust Mr. McMahon again, but Vince asked the Great One to trust himself and the people, because his future was with the people and the World Wrestling Federation! Shane countered by saying that his future was with the people, but not with the Federation, because it was dying and the Alliance was a progressive company, which transcends the biggest icon in the business -- The Rock! As Shane and Mr. McMahon continued to debate and push each other, Rock suddenly RockBottomed Mr. McMahon! Shane and Stephanie began to celebrate! Then, Rock stared down the Boy Wonder and smiled at him! Rock shook his hand -- and RockBottomed Shane! Rock then stood over a fallen Shane and hit him with the People's Elbow! The People's Champion then grabbed the microphone and said that "finally... The Rock had come back to the WWF, if you smell what The Rock is cooking!" Steph talks about her brother, saying he has taken part in some of the most hellacious matches in WWF history, and only one word discribes him.. Gladiator. She says that Shane always ends up on top. Suddenly Chris Jericho's entrance Music plays and Y2J comes to the entrance Ramp. Jericho tells Stephanie not to sell herself short, because Shane may always end up on top, but Stephanie always ends up on bottom............ side.... upside-down... and bent over! Jericho says Steph's idea of a Summerslam is a Quicky on a Hot August Night, and when her body hits the floor, it's usually naked with a pay paying customer. Jericho admits that he realizes Stephanie has been with most of the wrestlers from both rosters.... the lighting crew.. the sound guys.. the camera men.. and the popcorn vender in the front row! But he took the liberty of setting her up with some residents of the Planet of the Apes. Suddenly two characters from the Movie: Planet of the Apes comes out to the ring. The Rock might be back, but Stephanie can still have the pie, and he takes a pie out of the box and throws it in Stephanie's face. BACKSTAGE: Debra & Lita. Debra & Lita meet backstage in catering. Lita congradulates Debra for standing up to Austin on smackdown. Lita says it must be hard living with a man like Stone Cold. Debra gets offended and asks "what's that supposed to mean?". Lita goes on the def ensive saying she didn't mean anything by it, it's just that Debra is so sweet and nice and always goes out of her way to help people, and Austin seems like a mean guy. Debra gets upset and leaves. COMMISSIONER'S OFFICE: Regal, Tajiri, XPac. Regal is telling Tajiri about the Queens birthday. XPac bursts in and asks for more competition, saying he hasn't been on RAW OR SMACKDOWN since winning the WCW Cruiserwieght Title. Tajiri mutters something in Japanese, Regal laughs. XPac demands to know what Tajiri said. Regal tells XPac that Tajiri said "The reason XPac hasnt been on RAW or SMACKDOWN is because XPAC SUCKS". XPac gets pissed and says "Why don't we put aside all this Alliance stuff and challanges Tajiri to a match. Tajiri accepts and Regal makes the match. WOMANS HANDICAP MATCH: Jacky vs Torrie/Stacy A few minutes into the match Ivory comes to ringside. Ivory attacks Jacky and joins Torrie/Stacy and The Alliance in a shocking turn of events. BACKSTAGE: Diamond Dallas Page. Page is shown standing in front of his Shrine to Sara. Page is saying that he wants his Sara. WWF NEW YORK: Terri. Terri is interviewed by JR & Paul Heyman. Heyman yells at Terri asking her how it feels to be dumped by Perry Saturn for a mop. Terri runs off crying. BACKSTAGE: Debra & Austin. Debra is telling Austin about what happened with Lita. Austin doesn't seem to care until Debra stretches the truth and says that Lita said that her boyfriend, Matt Hardy, could beat Austin's ass any day.. Austin THEN got offended and jumped to his feet and left the room to find M.Hardy. EARLIER TODAY: Booker T. Booker is showing talking to the Director of the Movie he is auditioning for. After a grueling match, Kurt Angle makes Bubba Ray tap to the Anklelock for the win. BACKSTAGE: Austin & Lita. Lita tries to talk Austin out of the match. Austin just bullies Lita and leaves. WWF IC TITLE MATCH: Lance Storm vs Christian Christian comes to the ring and asks Lance Storm to come to the ring. Storm comes out and Christian says that since they are both Canadian, and Christian is proud to be Canadian, he wants Lance Storm to take part in a special 5-Second pose with him. Lance Storm says it would be an honor, and sets up for the pose. Edge comes in behind Storm and pulls Storms tights down to his ankles exposing cartoon underwear! The match begins.... Kane tells his brother that DDP has a shrine set up in the Arena. Taker says that they're gonna go down there and end this once and for all. LOCKER ROOM: The Rock & Kurt Angle. Kurt Angle comes into The Rock's dressing room. Angle says he knows they don't like eachother but.. The Rock says he is willing to start with a clean slate. Kurt Angle says that since the Rock has a street fight with Shane McMahon tonight, and Angle has street fight experience with Shane McMahon, that Angle had a gift for the Rock. Angle gives the Rock a big glass of Milk. The Rock says that he's gonna take that glass of milk and turn it sideways.. The Rock drinks the milk and says it's the best damn milk the Rock has ever had. The Rock thanks Kurt Angle for the Milk, but for next time to bring some Pie. Angle says that he will def initly bring some Apple Pie next time. The Rock tells Angle not to bother. Angle wishes Rock luck and leaves. LOCKER ROOM: Steve Austin & Debra. Austin joins Debra and says that he just had a conversation with Lita. Austin said that Lita was talking trash about Debra. Austin says he's gonna go kick Matt Hardy's ass right now. Debra tells Steve to wait up she wants to go out to the ring too. BACKSTAGE: Taker, Kanyon, DDP, Kane. Taker enters the room where Sara's shrine is. Taker investigates all the candles and photos and gets pissed off and rips them all off the wall.. A shadow lurks around the corner and Taker hears laughing. The shadow jumps out and attacks the Taker, but it is only Kanyon in a DDP disguise. DDP comes out of no where and attacks the Taker. Kanyon & DDP beat down Taker. Kane finally enters the room and chases them off. MATCH: Steve Austin w/ Debra vs Matt Hardy /w Lita Lita gets up on the apron yelling at the referee. Debra pulls Lita down. Lita chases Debra into the ring, where Steve Austin catches her and hits her (Lita) with the Stunner. Matt Hardy runs in and is hit with the Stunner as well and Austin pins him for the win. EARLIER TODAY: Booker T. Booker T is still at his Audition and getting frustrated. The director says that maybe this project isn't right for Booker T. Booker says that this project SUCKS! And that he's a bigger star than the Rock. The other actress asks Booker T is he knows the Rock? Booker says he is going to take The Rock out to Summerslam. The Actress asks if Booker is the Rock's chauffer or something. Booker gets extremely mad at this comment. STREET FIGHT: The Rock vs Shane McMahon. Shane drops his kendo stick at the beginning of the match, and is afraid to take his eye off the Rock to pick it back up. Shane and The Rock fight way up into the stands and then come back down to the ring. The Rock puts a trash can over Shane's upper body and smashes him with a chair. Shane Rolls down the Entrance Ramp still inside the can. Booker T interfers but The Rock takes him out right away and finishes off Shane McMahon for the WIN! Booker attacks the Rock and beats on him. Stone Cold Steve Austin comes to the ring and gives a speech to the Alliance. Austin says that he is proud of all of the Alliance wrestlers and thanks to his leadership, each and every one of them have a chance, or at least an opportunity, to be as famous as Stone Cold himself. Austin shows footage of Smackdown on the big screen of him stunning Kurt Angle and attacking his ankle. Austin asks the wrestlers who wants an opportunity to become famous tonight, by taking on Kurt Angle. Most wrestlers indicate willingness to accept. Paul Heyman stands up from his announce position and starts an R-V-D chant. Rob Van Dam gets on the apron and accepts the challange. Austin says there were certain inviduals who recently stepped up to the plate. Austin asks DDP & Kanyon to step forward and congradulated them on winning the WWF Tag Team Titles. Austin points out Test, who is the newest member of the Alliance. Austin congradulates Rhyno for putting the GORE on Y2J. But Austin says that there were certain individuals who DIDN'T step up to the plate, or "respond appropriately" to Steve Austins words, because they didn't take the initiative. Austin says that this week on Smackdown, the first ever Stone Cold Steve Austin invitational will take place, so Austin can teach the fundimentals to some of those individuals who are lacking. Austin calls attention to Tazz, Raven & Hugh Morrus and tells them to get into the ring. Austin points out Tommy Dreamer and says that he hasn't even had a match in the WWF yet. Austin says that he sees Tommy Dreamer getting people coffee and water backstage and intructs Dreamer to grow a backbone. Austin then address's Hugh Morrus, asking him who whipped his ass last week on Smackdown. Morrus replied "Y2J.. Austin asks if he is supposed to think the name "Hugh Morrus" is supposed to be funny, if the name "Hugh Morrus" is supposed to make Stone Cold laugh. Austin tells Morrus that he is PATHETIC! Austin asks Raven who whipped his ass on smackdown. Raven replies "Saturn".. Austin berates Raven for having his ass whipped by a guy who is having a sexual relationship with a mop. Austin says "Do you want me to give you a speech? YOU SUCK! Quote Stone Cold Steve Austin, nevermore". Austin turns his attention to Tazz. Showing footage of smackdown when Tazz was doing commentary, and the Alliance head, Shane McMahon was getting his ass kicked by the Rock, and Tazz just stood by and did nothing. Austin said that Tazz is an embarrassment. Austin explains that he has to make an example out of Tazz, and takes his belt off.\ Austin instructs Tazz to take off his shirt. Tazz refuses. Austin repeatedly asks Tazz to take of his shirt, slapping him lightly with the belt. Tazz grabs Austins arm. Austin kicks Tazz in the gut, and tells Hugh Morrus & Raven to "get'em". Morrus & Raven attack Tazz. Austin calls in Palumbo & O'Haire, who both kick Tazz in the face at the same time. Austin calls in Bubba Ray & D-Von who put the wazzup headbutt drop on Tazz. Austin calls in Rhyno who viciously gores Tazz. Austin tells the men to hold Tazz down, while Austin whips Tazz with his belt about 25 times in a row. BACKSTAGE: Edge & Christian. E&C talk about their match with Lance Storm & Just Credible. Edge asks Christian why he wasn't there for the save on Smackdown when Edge got the con-chair-to from RVD & Storm. Christian says that he had noticed a scratch on the trophy above Edge's name, and had to go get it repaired, that's why he wasn't at smackdown. Edge tells Christian to remember the name of the guy, because when he wins the IC title from Storm at Summerslam, the belt will need to be polished. MATCH: Tajiri w/ Regal vs Albert w/XPac. XPac tries to interfer but Regal stops him. Tajiri gets the upset win via pinfall. BACKSTAGE: Michael Cole, Kurt Angle, Hugh Morrus. Michael Cole explains that RVD has challanged Kurt Angle to a match tonight and speculates weather or not Angle will be healthy enough to compete. Angle enters the scene and says that he was in much worse condition when he won his gold medals an the 96 olympics, and that he will take on RVD tonight. Suddenly, Angle is attacked by Hugh Morrus, but Angle fights back and locks the Anklelock on Morrus, who taps out. MATCH: Edge & Christian vs Lance Storm & Justin Credible. Paul Heyman explains that Storm & Credible were 2-time ECW Tag Team Champions under the name "The Impact Players". Christian hurts his knee (possibly legit) when he is tossed outside the ring. Credible accidentally kicks Storm and Edge pins Storm for the WIN! Lance attacks Edge afterwards. Christian grabs a chair and makes the save. BACKSTAGE: Austin/Debra, RVD, Shawn Stasiak. Austin talks to RVD about his match with Angle. Shawn Stasiak comes in and tells Austin that he is so inspired by Austin's leadership, and Austin's speeches. Austin asks Stasiak if he is just gonna be a "son of a wwf champion" or if he's gonna go out and do something about it. Stasiak gets fired up and tells Austin that tonight he's gonna do something that he'll never forget. BACKSTAGE: DDP, Kanyon, Palumbo, O'Haire. DDP & Kanyon pump Palumbo & O'Haire up for their cage match against the Brothers of Destruction. COMMISSIONER'S OFFICE: Regal, Angle, Stasiak. Regal tries to talk Angle out of his match tonight with RVD. Angle says that a true American never backs down from a fight, and begins to tell a story about Benjamin Franklin. All of a sudden Shawn Stasiak charges Kurt Angle, but Angle moves out of the way, and Stasiak slams into a set of steel body armour knocking himself out. Angle & Regal continue their conversation. Regal wishes Angle luck. Angle leaves the room, and Regal pours himself some tea, while Stasiak is laying on the floor. STEEL CAGE TAG TEAM MATCH: Taker/Kane w/ Sara vs Palumbo/O'Haire. DDP & Kanyon come out to watch from the stage. Chuck Palumbo is busted open early in the match. DDP & Kanyon chase Sara outside of the ring, but she climbs the cage and sits on top to excape. DDP & Kanyon start to climb the cage but the Undertaker knocks them off from inside. Double choke-slam and the Brothers of Destruction get the win. BACKSTAGE: Rhyno & Stephanie. Rhyno & Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley are shown walking to the ring. IN THE RING: Steph, Rhyno, Jericho, Booker T, Rock. Stephanie & Rhyno come to the ring and gloat about Goring Jericho through the Smackdown screen destroying the set. They show the footage from smackdown. Stephanie says that Rhyno must have knocked a screw loose because even after the Gore, Jericho accepted Rhyno's challange. Steph says that she will personally be in Rhyno's corner to watch Rhyno beat Jericho again. Rhyno tells Steph that it would be an honor. Stephanie asks to see the footage one more time, but Jericho's music place and Jericho comes out to the the stage. Jericho says he is still feeling the effects of the gore on Smackdown. Jericho also says that at Summerslam, he is going to "take care of that Smelly, Greasy, Nasty animal........ and he'll get Rhyno too".. Jericho shows a picture of Stephanie from one year ago on the big screen where she has small breasks, and then he doubles it with a picture from last week, where her chest was considerably larger. Proving that Stephanie has her breasts enlarged. Stephanie completely denies it, saying that Jericho has some imagination. Rhyno grabs the microphone and tells Jericho to show this woman some respect, and if he won't, why not come to the ring so he can't beat some into him. Before Jericho can speak, Booker T's music hits and Booker makes his way to the ring. Booker T says that Stephanie is "All Natural", and follows that up by saying "Damn, Stephanie you lookin' fine today!". Booker T says that since Jericho is the authority on women, and with his long blonde hair, that he heard there was an opening in the Backstreet Boys, perhaps Jericho should check it out. Jericho fake laughs and says that there is an opening in the A-Team reunion show, maybe HE should check THAT out... Mr T! Booker T gets mad, and starts to talk about the Rock & Summerslam. The Rock's music hits and The Rock comes out to the Ramp. The Rock trash talks Booker T. Jericho gets in on the trash talking. Stephanie gets fed up and challanges Rock/Jericho to a tag team match tonight against Rhyno/Booker. Jericho accepts and says that Stephanie is "the breast... i mean, the best!". BACKSTAGE: Austin/Debra & Hurricane Helms. Helms comes into the room and sits down with Austin & Debra. Helms grabs a carrot without asking. Austin asks who he is, and Helms tells him. Austin asks Helms what his Tatoo is of. Helms explains that it is the Green Lantern. Austin makes fun of the Green Lantern. Austin asks Hurrican Helms if he can go out there and cause destruction like a real hurricane. Helms says that he can and he will. Austin tells him to go do it. Helms grabs another tomato and leaves the room. MATCH: Spike Dudley w/ Molly Holly vs Test Test gets the win. After the match Test Power-Bombs Spike. Test goes for a second Power-Bomb but Molly gets in the way, and Test sets her up for the Power-Bomb. The A.P.A. run in for the save. The Dudleyz run in and attack the A.P.A. but the A.P.A. get the better of the Dudleyz. WWF HARDCORE TITLE MATCH: Rob Van Dam vs Kurt Angle. Mid-Way through the match, Raven, Tommy Dreamer, and Mike Awesome run down and attack Kurt Angle. Jeff Hardy runs in with his own referee and hits the swanton bomb on Rob Van Dam, and pins him to win the WWF HARDCORE TITLE. J.Hardy & Angle celebrate together. OUTSIDE THE BATHROOM: Debra, Shawn Stasiak, Steve Austin. Stasiak & Debra are talking and Stasiak is wondering if he should apoligize. Austin comes out of the bathroom and slams the door into Stasiak's face without knowing. MAIN EVENT: The Rock/Jericho vs BookerT/Rhyno w/Steph/Shane Late in the match, Jericho gets the Lion Tamer on Rhyno but there is no referee. A WWF Referee runs to the ring but Shane McMahon bodychecks him. Stephanie gets into the ring and pulls Jericho's hair. Jericho turns around and drops Stephanie to the mat. Rhyno attacks Jericho and rolls him up for the pin, and WCW referee Charles Robinson counts the three giving the Alliance the WIN! After the match, Rhyno gores Jericho. Rock throws Booker into the steps outside the ring, and enters the ring to attack Rhyno. Rock puts the Rock Bottom on Rhyno. Shane McMahon attacks the Rock but the Rock beats him out of the ring. Booker T then attacks The Rock and beats him down landing a Rock Bottom of his own. Shane McMahon sets up a chair and tells Booker to hit the Rock Bottom again but on the chair this time. He told the Alliance members that he has led by example, and that his hard work and dedication would rub off on the other stars of the Alliance, which could only lead to more victories for Team WCW/ECW. 6-WOMAN TAG TEAM MATCH: Lita/Molly/Jacky vs Ivory/Torrie/Stacy. The rematch from Sunday Night HEAT saw Jacqueline pin Ivory to give the Federation women the win! BACKSTAGE: The Dudley Boyz/Test, Stephanie. The Dudley Boyz told Test that after his performance with them at SummerSlam, he could team with them any time he wanted. At that point, ECW owner Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley interrupted the men and said that she wanted to have a word with her ex-fiance. Stephanie told Test that although they didn’t end their engagement on a great note, she felt they had grown up a lot since then. She thought that Test could help the Alliance tremendously, and she said he could start by taking out Chris Jericho on RAW! Test said that Stephanie always was a bitch, but he has always liked that about her. He said that he would battle Y2J later in the night! IN THE RING: The Rock, Little Booker T, Lance Storm. The new WCW Champion, The Rock, made his way to the ring to the delight of the thousands in attendance in the Arco Arena. He said that he had taken Booker T to school at SummerSlam, bragging by saying he taught Booker T "People's Elbow 101, Advanced Rock Bottom 407," and "Getting your monkey ass whipped 1-2-3." He said that the biggest lesson he taught Booker T was that he could act like The Rock and he could talk like The Rock, but there is only one Great One! The People’s Champ then said that he wanted Booker to come out and stand face-to-face with him. At that point, Booker T’s music hit, but it wasn’t the former WCW Champion that made his way out. Instead, it was a midget dressed like Booker T! The Rock told the small Booker that he wanted to see the move that he could do better than anyone else, the Spinaroonie. After nailing his rendition of Booker T’s move, he then did the Moonwalk, the Running Man and even a Deion Sanders impression. As The Rock continued to taunt the micro-sized Booker T, Lance Storm made his way to the ramp. He told The Rock that it was a sad day when mocking your opponent via a midget was humorous. Storm told the Great One that the only funny thing in the ring was the fact that The Rock was holding the WCW Championship. Storm then challenged the People’s Champ to a WCW Championship match later in the ring, which prompted The Rock to ask the question, Who in the blue hell are you? The Rock finally accepted Storm’s challenge, and as he left the ring, Storm superkicked the midget Booker T in the face! APA/B.Show/S2H/B.Gunn/Spike v Dudleyz/Palumbo/OHaire/Morrus/Dreamer The match saw all twelve men deliver their finishing maneuvers on each other, capped by a monster chokeslam on Tommy Dreamer by the Big Show for the win. After the match, the six Federation stars stood united in the ring as the Alliance members scurried back to the locker room. TAPED SEGMENT: Hurrican Helms. Hurricane Helms explained that, as a kid, he was fascinated by superheros, especially the Green Latern. He said that, in the past few months, Stone Cold has shown him what it takes to be a super-sized hero in the sports-entertainment business. He finished by saying that Austin was now his favorite superhero. MATCH: Chris Jericho vs Test w/ Stephanie. Chris Jericho made his way to the ring and told the crowd that, at SummerSlam, he had finally beat the vicious Rhyno. He said, however, that Rhyno showed him that he truly had a set, unlike Test. He said he was disgusted by the fact that Test had reunited with his ex-fiance, Stephanie. The comments led to Test coming to the ring, accompanied by Stephanie, for their one-on-one match. During the match, Y2J grabbed Steph, who was on the apron, when Rhyno made his way out. Rhyno and Jericho battled outside the ring, until Jericho turned his attention to the Billion Dollar Princess. He eventually chased her into the ring, where an awaiting Test nailed Y2J in the face with a big boot for the 1-2-3 win. BACKSTAGE: Edge & Christian. Edge was shining up his newly-won Intercontinental Championship when Christian entered the room. He said that not only are they seven-time Tag Team Champions, two-time Intercontinental Champions and the 2001 Kings of the Ring, but after his match with Matt Hardy on RAW, they will also be European Champions as well. Edge then wished Christian luck as his younger brother walked out of the room with the King of the Ring trophy. TAPED SEGMENT: Shawn Stasiak. Shawn Stasiak attempted to give his thoughts on Stone Cold, but he continued to mess up his promo take after take. Stasiak finally uttered something to the effect that Austin was his inspiration. WWF NEW YORK: Mick Foley. Mick Foley was hosting RAW at WWF New York, and J.R. asked the former Federation Commissioner his thoughts on the Stone Cold/Kurt Angle Federation Championship match at SummerSlam. Foley said he had never kicked out of a Stone Cold Stunner, but Angle did it three times in their match. He said that he and the other Superstars knew how tough Angle was before the match, but he said that thanks to his gut-wrenching performance at SummerSlam, the whole world now knows the intensity of their Olympic hero. WCW HW TITLE MATCH: The Rock vs Lance Storm. The Great One made short work of the former Intercontinental Champion, winning the match after a Rock Bottom. Little Booker T then came down the ring, and The Rock told him to give him the fallen Storm a People’s Elbow, which he did. The Rock watched on as Little Booker T then gave the crowd two more renditions of the Spinaroonie. EUROPEAN TITLE MATCH: Matt Hardy w/ Lita vs Christian. Before the match, Christian said that everyone knew that the people of Sacramento were paying millions of dollars to Chris Webber for a championship that he was never going to win, but not to worry. He said he would win the European Championship for them free of charge. Christian looked to have the match won after hitting a reverse DDT, but Hardy kicked out. Hardy then countered with his Twist of Fate to retain the European Championship. Christian took a fit in the ring and got very angry. BACKSTAGE: Booker T. Booker T had just arrived at the building and, to his surprise, everyone backstage was laughing at him. INTERVIEW: Cole/DDP. Michael Cole interviewed Diamond Dallas Page about his match with Sara on RAW. DDP said that even though he was hurting from his cage match at SummerSlam, it was all worth it because it’s obvious that Sara made this match with him because she wanted to be with him. TAPED SEGMENT: Tazz. Tazz said that he wanted to thank Stone Cold for bringing back the old Tazz. He said Austin had truly led by example, and he was thankful that the Rattlesnake had made the man from Red Hook tougher than he already was. COMMISSIONER'S OFFICE: Regal, Tajiri, Booker T. Commissioner William Regal and Tajiri were looking at the latest RAW Magazine when Booker T entered their office. Booker was furious that people were laughing at him, and he wanted a rematch with The Rock. Regal said that The Rock had already def ended the WCW Championship earlier in the show against Lance Storm, and much like Booker T the night before, he came up a little short. Tajiri was laughing at Booker, which prompted the former five-time WCW Champion to challenge Tajiri to a match. MATCH: Booker T vs Tajiri. Still dressed in his street clothes, Booker T came to the ring. He said that ever since he came to the Federation, he had been disrespected. However, he said, that would all change on RAW. He then called out the Japanese Buzzsaw, Tajiri. Booker T brutally assaulted Tajiri, choking him out with his shirt, which led to the WCW official calling for a disqualification. BACKSTAGE: Sara & Undertaker. Sara was preparing for her match against DDP when Taker asked her if she was sure she wanted to go through with it. She assured her husband that she def initely wanted to face Page, and the duo made their way to the ring. INTERGENDER GRUDGE MATCH: Sara Calloway vs DDP. Page grabbed the microphone and told Sara that he knew she wanted to get physical with him. DDP gave her the first shot, and Page retaliated by pushing her to the ground. Taker, who was at ringside, pulled Page outside the ring and began to pepper shots on his wife’s stalker. He ended up slamming Page on the ground before throwing him into the ring, which allowed Sara to cover the fallen Page for the win. AUSTIN APPRECIATION CEREMONY: The Alliance. The last segment of RAW saw the collective members of the Alliance come to the ring for what they dubbed Austin Appreciation Night. Paul Heyman got on the mic and said that there has never been a man that has led any alliance as well as Stone Cold Steve Austin. He then called for Austin to come to the ring. The Federation Champion came out to a chorus of boos from the crowd. Heyman told Stone Cold that he personally wanted to thank Austin for what he had done for the sports entertainment industry, and he said others wanted to express their thanks as well. Hurricane Helms presented the Rattlesnake with his own, personal Green Latern t-shirt. Next, Kanyon entered the ring and said that for years everyone had asked, "Who betta than Kanyon?" At SummerSlam, however, Kanyon said that Austin had proved that he was the best, and he presented Austin with a "Who betta than Austin?" t-shirt. Heyman then introduced Mrs. Rattlesnake, Debra. Debra said that she knew that Austin was tired from his match with Angle, so she had stayed up all night baking her famous cookies for the Rattlesnake. Heyman then said that the Alliance wanted to present a video tribute to the Rattlesnake, which they began to play in the Arco Arena. The video highlighted every offensive maneuver that the Stone Cold had inflicted on Federation Superstars since joining Team WCW/ECW. Heyman then introduced the woman that had paid for the tribute, Mrs. Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley. Steph told all the Alliance members to come into the ring to pay their respects to Stone Cold. The Billion Dollar Princess told Lilian Garcia to enter the ring and since their version of "Wind Beneath My Wings," which was appropriately titled "Wind Beneath Our Ring." Garcia began to sing, but Steph cut her off, asking her where her heart was? Steph said that she would take over and lead the crowd in song. Stephanie then proceeded to screech out the lyrics to the song, before Chavo, Terri and the rest of the Alliance chimed in to help. After the conclusion of the song, Austin said that that moment was one of the greatest and proudest moments of his life. He said that he beat Kurt Angle’s ass for each and every member of Team WCW/ECW. He then saw that Tazz was not wearing a WCW, ECW or Stone Cold t-shirt - he was wearing an orange Tazz t-shirt. He was telling the man from Red Hook to take off the shirt, when Kurt Angle’s music hit the arena. As Austin turned toward the ramp, he saw Kurt Angle driving a giant milk truck to the ring! Angle started hurling milk cartons into the ring. He then picked up a hose and began to spray milk all over the Alliance members in the ring! With the alliance soaked in Milk, Angle climbed to the top of the Milk Truck and guzzled several cartons of milk. This was exactly what Stone Cold had done years before to Vince McMahon, except it was a Beer Truck, Beer hose, and Beer sprayed at Vince McMahon and the corporation. IN THE RING: Shane McMahon, The Rock, Rhyno. Here comes the money! Shane McMahon comes out to the ring. Shane says about 5 months ago he purchased a company with his hard-earned money, called WCW. He didn't buy that company just for his amusement, just because he felt bored that day, he bought the company to make it the most dominant brand in sports-entertainment history and to put the World Wrestling Federation and Vince McMahon out of business. He says one of the greatest assests out of WCW was its champion, the 5-time champion, the most electryifying person in sports-entertainment today, Booker T. Shane says that's a champion you can get behind and be proud of, unlike the current champion. He says the current champion is everything that Shane despises in this business and he'll be damned if he sits there as his hard-earned money goes to waste on The Rock. He says he'd like to say it's not about the money but he'd be lying, it's all about the money. Shane says that The Rock doesn't care about the history of WCW or its future, and you need a champion who cares. He says that tonight he has a special treat for all of the crowd, a new WCW champion will be crowned, cause Rock is going down to Rhyno and Rhyno will bring the championship back where it belongs. Shane says if Rhyno hadn't beat him to it, he'd be more than happy to lay the smackdown on The Rock and become the WCW Champion. If ya smell..what The Rock..is cookin! Here comes The Rock! Rock stands on top of the entryway. Finally, The Rock has come back to Grand Rapids! Rock says just so he understands this, The Rock supposedly doesn't care about the history of the WCW or the WCW title. Rock says he knows damn well the history of the WCW title and he knows that the title traces back to people like Ricky Steamboat and "Whoo!" Ric Flair. Rock poses like the Nature Boy, Ric Flair and the crowd chants for The Rock. The Rock says he also knows that in recent years, the WCW has come to people like Diamond Dallas Page..Booker T..the guy from Scream 2..the dog from Married with Children..the aunt from the Jeffersons. Rock says the WCW title is like Shane's sister, everyone gets a turn. Rock says now the WCW title has purpose, the WCW title has people and the WCW title has The Rock. Rock says congratulations on purchasing the WCW cause The Rock now has the honor of standing in front of everyone and saying that he is the most electrifying champion the WCW has ever seen. Rock says he knows that he has Rhyno tonight, but he has a proposition for Shane. If Shane wants to take the title, then why doesn't the Rock walk down the ramp, get inside the ring and see if Shane can take the WCW title from The Rock. Shane takes his hand and gestures for The Rock to just bring it. Rock comes down to the ring and Shane runs out of the ring. Rhyno comes up from behind Rock but Rock delivers a right hand to Rhyno. Shane McMahon is in the ring now but he recieves several right hands from The Rock and Rock beats the hell out of Shane McMahon. Then from out of nowhere, Rhyno hits a massive Gore on Rock. Shane and Rhyno celebrate as Rock clutches his ribs. BACKSTAGE: Austin & Debra, RVD & Raven. Debra is shown wrapping up Austin's arm from his injuries on Smackdown. Rob Van Dam and Raven enter the locker room and Raven tells Austin to beat Jericho's ass tonight. Raven says he and RVD want a Hardcore title match against each other and they need Austin's approval. RVD says Raven thinks he can beat him and Raven says he knows he can. Austin asks them what they are thinking, he has a match with Angle and Jericho and the Alliance doesn't need to split up. Raven asks why doesn't he take on Angle and Jericho..and RVD can help him. Austin says he'd rather take on both Jericho and Angle in a handicap match, injured arm and all, and that's what he's going to do. Raven asks if that's really a good idea and he and RVD should take on Angle and Jericho. Austin says that just might work but he'll be down at ringside with them. MATCH: The Undertaker vs Albert w/ X-Pac. Albert tosses Taker into the corner. Taker reverses and tosses Albert into his place and then hammers down Albert. Taker with a drop toe hold to Albert followed by elbow drops. Taker cranks the arm of Albert but Albert knocks him down with a clothesline. Albert and Taker with right hands and then Taker takes Albert off his feet and goes Old School. Undertaker takes Albert down with a cross-arm breaker. X-Pac gives Taker a right hand from the outside. Undertaker goes outside and is about to Chokeslam X-Pac but Albert meets him on the outside. X-Pac nails Taker with one of his Championships but Taker turns around and nails X-Pac with a right hand. Albert comes from behind and hits Taker with the bicycle kick and rolls him back into the ring but only gets the 2 count. Albert measures Taker for the Baldobomb as Taker gets back to his feet but Taker hits Albert with a Chokeslam for the win. Winner: The Undertaker INTERVIEW: Cole & Hurricane. Cole talks to Helms about his obsession with the Green Lantern, someone Helms calls the greatest superhero of all time. Helms says the greatest, second only to Stone Cold Steve Austin. Helms says superheros not only exists in cinema, but when he takes on Matt Hardy for the European Championship tonight he's going to have the evil Lita at his side. He says that reminds him of when Green Lantern took on Lady Chaos and the Mirror Man at the same time. What's up with that? Anyways, he continues that the Green Lantern did prevail and tonight, so will the Hurricane. EUROPEAN TITLE MATCH: Matt Hardy w/ Lita vs Hurricane Helms. Matt looks absolutely shocked. Helms offers to shake Matt's hands but Matt clotheslines Helms and then tosses him into the corner and hits Helms with right hands. Helms whips Matt into the ropes but Helms hits Matt with a superkick. Helms goes up top and hits Matt with a cross-body for a 2 count. Matt staggers to stand but Helms whips him into the ropes. Helms goes for a powerbomb but Matt reverses into a Russian Leg Sweet. Matt then with a scoop slam to Helms and goes up top and hits his Drop Shot Leg Drop for a 2 count. Matt sets Helms up on the top rope but Helms with a cross-body to counter. Ivory runs down to ringside and nails Lita in the back with a tire iron. Matt notices what's going on and goes to the apron and grabs Ivory by the hair. Ivory blasts Matt in the ribs with the tire iron and Helms hits Matt with a modified neckbreaker for the 3 count. Winner and New European Champion: Hurricane Helms INTERVIEW: Cole & Kurt Angle. Cole asks Angle about his feelings about his opponents here tonight. Angle says he's about to find out. Angle spots Raven and chases him down. Angle slams Raven's head off the wall and continues to beat the hell out of Raven. Angle locks Raven in the ankle lock. Angle releases and Raven rolls around on the floor clutching his ankle in pain. Angle says that's going to send a message to Austin, and if Austin wants to kick his ass so much, then he wants him to be as selfish as he wants, and spoil himself as much as he wants. And it looks like RVD needs a new tag team partner. And that is true. And the truth hurts, doesn't it Raven? MEDICAL CENTER: Lita & Raven & Austin + Stasiak. In the back, an EMT is checking on Lita's knee. Also in the back, an EMT is checking on Raven's leg. Raven the EMT not to touch the ankle, it hurts. Austin comes in and asks what the hell is going on. The EMT tells Austin that Raven will not be able to wrestle tonight. Stasiak comes in and Stasiak asks to team with RVD to impress Austin. Austin asks if Stasiak wants to impress him. Stasiak says yes so Austin says to get his ass out to the ring then, and impress him! Austin says he can't believe Angle attacked Raven. Austin then addresses Raven. Austin says Raven is useless to the Alliance now. Austin says he has an injured arm and Raven is complaining about some Mickey Mouse injury at his foot? Austin says now he'll have to be RVD's partner in the match tonight. Austin asks Raven what good is he now and Raven says he doesn't know. Austin slams his fist into Raven's ankle in anger and Raven screams in pain. Austin leaves the locker room. BACKSTAGE: Edge & Hugh Morrus + Chriatian. Edge is drinking a soda and here comes Hugh Morrus. Hugh Morrus tells Edge he should be waiting for a call from his Grandma Edna. Morrus says Edge is a crappy name, and he asks where he could pick up a name like that. Edge says he has a name for him, not Hugh Morrus, Hugh totally suck. Hugh totally reek. Christian then comes in and asks if he's picking on his brother for his ridiculous name. Christian says if he wants a shot at Edge's Intercontinental Championship, then Hugh got it. And Hugh must be crazy if you think you can beat Edge. Hugh Morrus thanks Christian, and says he got exactly what he came for. Morrus leaves and Christian says he can't believe that Morrus was picking on Edge like that. Edge asks what the hell Christian thinks he's doing and Christian says he's got it all taken care of, and that's why WE'RE the Intercontinental Champ. MATCH: Test w/ Shane McMahon vs Bradshaw w/ Farooq. Bradshaw with right hands to Test. Bradshaw with hard chops and then a DDT. Bradshaw then with a swinging neckbreaker. Bradshaw hammers Test some more and goes for a powerbomb but Test hits a back body drop. Test with a full nelson slam to Bradshaw. Test drives the right hands into Bradshaw. Test whips Bradshaw into the corner but walks into the boot of Bradshaw. Bradshaw goes for the Clothesline From Hell but walks into a Sidewalk Slam from Test. Test climbs up the turnbuckle and goes for the Flying Elbow Drop but Bradshaw moves. Both Test and Bradshaw are up. Bradshaw whips Test into the ropes and then an elbow block to Test, followed by a Powerslam for a 2 count. Test whips Bradshaw into the corner. Test charges at Bradshaw but Bradshaw catches Test and hits Test with a fallaway slam. Shane is up on the apron and Bradshaw rolls up Test for a 2 count. Test knocks Bradshaw to the outside and Shane hammers down Bradshaw. Farooq chases Bradshaw but walks into a huge clothesline from Test. Bradshaw chases Shane McMahon into the ring but Bradshaw runs right into the Big Boot from Test. Test with the 3 count and the win. Winner: Test BACKSTAGE: Austin & Debra + RVD. Austin says he can't believe Angle attacked Raven. RVD walks in and he says he can't believe the number Austin did on Raven. RVD says he knew that was Austin's plan all along, that Austin would put Raven out of action so Austin could team with the great RVD. RVD says he's the King of Hardcore and he says he'll cover Austin and beat Angle and Jericho at once. Austin says he was the King of Hardcore before Hardcore even existed. He says it's a bad idea, Debra says it's a good idea, Austin says it's bad, Debra says it's good. Bad, good, bad, good, bad, good. Austin tells Debra to SHUT UP. Austin asks if RVD is suggesting that RVD is going to carry Austin in this match. RVD says he has everything covered. Austin says he'll think about it. Austin tells RVD to get the hell out. Austin says RVD is making him mad, and so is Debra. Debra and Austin continue to argue. BACKSTAGE: Shawn Stasiak & Stacy Keibler. Stasiak approaches Stacy Keibler. Stasiak says he has the perfect idea to take out Angle and he gets Stacy to come with him, somewhat unwillingly. WCW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: The Rock vs Rhyno. Rhyno and Rock meet on the ramp. Rhyno whips Rock into the barricade and then Rhyno hits Rock with The Gore. Rhyno rolls Rock into the ring and gets a 2 count on Rock. Rhyno with a hard slam and Rock lands on his ribs. Rhyno gets another 2 count. Rhyno with boots to Rock but Rock uses Rhyno's own charging momentum against Rhyno and side-steps Rhyno out of the ring. Rhyno crawls back in but Rock knocks him down. Rhyno locks a bear-hug on Rock. Rock is beginning to lose more and more air is Rhyno keeps the hold on. Rock with shots to Rhyno's face and Rhyno releases the hold. Rock misses a right hand and Rhyno with another bear-hug. Rock begins to fade away. Rhyno locks Rock to the ground with the bear-hug still applied and gets a 2 count. Rhyno continues to squeeze the air out of The Rock's lungs. Rock is almost knocked out but Rock raises his arm after a 2 count. Rock with right hands to Rhyno but Rhyno with a knee to the mid-section of The Rock. Rock hits a Samoan Drop but Rhyno is back on and shoulder blocks Rock in the ribs. Rhyno with a 2 count but Rock has his foot on the ropes. Rhyno climbs up to the middle rope and drives his knee into The Rock's injured ribs. Rhyno does this again and gets a 2 count. Rhyno with a right hand but Rock counters with right hands of his own. Rhyno again with a suplex and another 2 count. Rhyno with more right hands and Rhyno whips Rock into the ropes. Rock comes back with a belly to belly throw and both men are down. Both men are back to their feet and Rock blocks a right hand from Rhyno and then Rock with numerous right hands of his own and then a shoulder block to Rhyno. Rock with a DDT and a 2 count. Rhyno is back up and bounces off the ropes but walks into a Spinebuster from Rock. Shane McMahon runs out and gets up on the apron as Rock covers Rhyno. Rhyno hits Rock with a low blow as Rock tries to get the ref's attention. The Acolytes run out and chase Shane around the ring and to the back. Rhyno is back up and goes for the Gore but Rock moves out of the way and Rhyno runs into the turnbuckle. Rock hits The Rock Bottom on Rhyno for the win. Winner and Still WCW Champion: The Rock BACKSTAGE: Shawn Stasiak & Stacy Keibler. Stacy asks if Stasiak's plan will work. Stasiak says of course it will work. It's beautiful, just like Stacy. Stasiak says he knows that before Angle's match he will drink a big glass a milk. Well Stasiak has placed a bucket on top of the door full of rancid, sour, chunky milk. And when Angle opens the door the bucket will fall on him and Stasiak will beat him down and impress Stone Cold Steve Austin and let him tag with RVD in the main event. Stacy says it sounds like a good plan. Stasiak hears Angle coming and he and Stacy hide behind a screen. Stacy says she doesn't think Kurt is coming but Stasiak tells her to keep quiet. But instead of Angle, Debra opens the door and gets the sour, disgusting milk all over her. Debra shouts for Steve, screaming that he'll never believe what just happened to her. Stasiak and Stacy make a quick exit through the back door. INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH: Edge vs Hugh Morrus. Christian sits down at the announce table. Hugh Morrus beats Edge down in the corner and hits the big splash on Edge. Morrus kicks Edge down and tosses Edge into the corner but Edge moves out of the way and rolls up Morrus for a 2 count. Edge knocks down Morrus and hooks the legs once more for another 2 count. Morrus is back up and hits Edge with a Powerslam for another 2 count. Morrus with an elbow drop and another 2 count. Morrus continues to beat down Edge to the mat and into the corner. Morrus with a brainbuster and then a scoop slam. Morrus climbs up top and goes for a big elbow drop but Edge moves. Morrus whips Edge into the ropes but Edge hits a side Russian Leg Sweep on Morrus, then a clothesline, then a spinning wheel kick. Edge connects with an Edge-O-Matic for a 2 count. Morrus overpowers Edge as both men are back up to their feet and scoop slams Edge to the mat. Morrus climbs up top. Morrus taunts Christian at the announce booth but Christian approaches Morrus and drops Morrus's across the top rope right in front of the official. Edge hits the Buzzkiller DDT on Morrus and goes for the cover but the referee rings the bell and disqualifies Edge for Christian's actions. Winner by Disqualification: Hugh Morrus Christian gets in the ring and announces that Edge is still the Intercontinental Champion. Christian hands Edge his Intercontinental Title but Edge looks really mad at Christian and just grabs the belt from Christian and leaves. INTERVIEW: Cole & Booker T. Booker says he never lost the title, The Rock stole his title, sucka. Cole addresses what happened last week at RAW with Rock bring out the midget. Booker says there was nothing funny about that. Cole says if he doesn't like that, then he's really not going to like the footage they have from earlier today. They show an interview they conducted with Big Show earlier. And he's going to raise the roof, sucka. With the Spinarooni, sucka. Big Show shakes like Booker would before a Spinarooni. Show asks if Booker can dig that, sucka. Show continues to mock Booker T's vocabulary and Spinarooni until they stop the interview with Show and go back to Booker. Booker says suckas don't do that, they don't mock a 5-time WCW Champion like that. When they do that, somebody gotsta get hurt. BACKSTAGE: Jericho & Stephanie. Stephanie approaches Jericho in the back. Steph says she's been looking all over for Jericho. Steph says whether or not Austin accepts Angle's and Jericho's challenge is irrelevant. Steph says that Y-2-J is yesterday's news, he's O-U-T. She says the new greatest thing is R-V-D. Jericho says then she and RVD will make an excellent team because she's the H-O-E. Jericho leaves and Stephanie says that's not how you spell it. MATCH: Booker T vs. The Big Show. Show gets down on one knee and he looks like he's about to do the Spinarooni. Show makes a poor attempt at a Spinarooni and Booker attacks Big Show. Show hip tosses Booker and then knocks him down with a clothesline. Show tosses Booker into the corner and then goes for a huge splash but Booker moves. Booker knocks down Big Show with a sidekick and then punches Big Show on the mat. Booker looks to drives Show into the corner but Show reverses and hits Booker with hard knife-edge chops. Show is going for the powerbomb on Booker but Booker superkicks Show in the throat and then hits Show with the axe kick. Booker gets down to the mat and hits the Spinarooni. Show grabs Booker by the throat and goes for the Chokeslam but Booker hits Show with a low blow. It has little effect and Show tosses Booker outside. Show tosses Booker onto the ring steps. Show goes for a knee drop on Booker but Booker moves and Show goes knee-first into the ring steps. Booker nails Show with a chair and the referee calls for the bell. Winner by Disqualifcation: Big Show Booker continues to beat down Show with a chair and more right hands. Booker leaves Show in pain at ringside as Booker angrily and intensely makes his way back up the ramp. WWF NEW YORK: Al Snow. Al Snow and the cast from Tough Enough at WWF New York. MAIN EVENT: Angle/Jericho vs RVD/?. Austin's music plays and here comes Austin with his shoulder still wrapped up and not in wrestling gear. Austin gets on the mic and introduces RVD's tag team partner for the night...TAZZ. Out comes Tazz, Rob Van Dam's partner. Austin stays at ringside as Kurt Angle takes down Rob Van Dam into the corner. RVD is back up and with right hands to Angle and then Angle with right hands to RVD. Angle clotheslines RVD and Tazz is in the ring and Angle chases Tazz back out of the ring. RVD with a hard chop to Angle and a tag to Tazz. Tazz bounces off the rope and Angle with a cross-body and a 2 count. Angle tags in Jericho and Jericho with hard knife-edge chops to Tazz. Jericho with a front-face lock into a suplex, and then 2 more suplexes to Tazz but on the third, Tazz rolls Jericho up and hooks the leg for a 2. Tazz tags in RVD and RVD whips Jericho into the ropes and Jericho with a shoulder block. RVD leap frogs RVD's charge but Jericho connects with RVD with a heel kick. Jericho covers and gets a 2 count but Tazz interrupts the count. Jericho with more chops and a knockdown for another 2 count. Jericho sets RVD up on the top rope. Jericho with a superplex from the top. Jericho goes for the cover but Tazz interrupts the count. RVD whips Jericho into the ropes but Jericho with a kick to the face. RVD tosses Jericho onto the apron and Tazz hits Jericho with right hands. RVD springs over the ropes and hits Jericho with a leg drop on the apron. RVD sets Jericho back up in the ring and tags Tazz. Tazz tosses Jericho into the corner but Jericho charges at Tazz. Tazz catches Jericho with a belly to belly catch suplex. Tazz continues to pummel Jericho and says that it's for Austin. Austin claps on the outside. Tazz tags RVD and RVD with a ground sleeper on Jericho. Jericho fights back though and is back on his feet. RVD with a spinning heel kick to Jericho and a tag to Tazz. Tazz with an underhook suplex to Jericho and a 2 count. Tazz whips Jericho into the ropes but Jericho is able to hit a DDT on Tazz. Tazz tags RVD and prevents Jericho from tagging Angle by dragging him back to the Alliance corner. RVD with a spinning leg drop to Jericho and a 2 count. RVD with another sleeper on Jericho and as Jericho fights back, RVD hammers Jericho into the corner. RVD charges at Jericho in the corner but Jericho ducks and rolls-up RVD for a 2 count. RVD is back up and RVD connects with a spinning heel kick. RVD goes for a second rope Moonsault but Jericho puts his knees up. RVD tags Tazz, Jericho tags Angle. Angle with a belly to belly underhook suplex to Tazz and a 2 count that RVD breaks up. RVD stomps Angle to the ground and RVD hits Angle with the Five-Star Frog Splash. Tazz covers Angle but Angle kicks out of the Five-Star. Jericho knocks RVD to the outside and locks RVD in the Walls of Jericho. Austin breaks up Jericho's hold and rams Jericho face-first into the ring post. Back in the ring, Angle locks Tazz in the Ankle Lock. Austin gets up on the apron but Angle knocks him off. Tazz is back up now and locks the Tazzmission on Angle. Angle counters the Tazzmission with the Olympic Slam for the win. Winners: Chris Jericho and Kurt Angle Austin is back in the ring now and nails Angle in the head with the WWF Championship Title Belt. Austin stomps down Angle. Austin goes outside the ring and gets Angle's gold medals. Austin goes back into the ring and puts the medals around his neck. Austin hits Angle with the title belt one more time and stomps him down some more before heading back up the ramp, still with Angle's medals around his neck. 	90Min	09.03.01	KICKOFF: Undertaker vs Test. The Dead Man was answering a challenge laid down earlier in the day by Alliance member Test. The two behemoths started pounding on each other from the get-go, and eventually, Test was able to take the Taker down to the mat. Undertaker was able to gain his footing, however, and took Test into the corner. Test fended Taker off again, and took him to the mat once again. As Test went to finish off the Dead Man, Taker reversed the move into a submission hold. Test was able to break free after grabbing the ropes, but Taker continued to build his offensive momentum. Taker then went to hit his Last Ride when Steven Richards superkicked Taker from behind! Steven exited the ring as Test nailed Taker with a big boot to the face! TAPED FOOTAGE: Christian. Christian told an arena guard that he would beat The Rock later, when two people came up to him saying it was so cool to see Edge's brother. After the couple told Christian they were going to be in the front row, he told the guard to get them out of the front row so his real fans could see him win later. BACKSTAGE: Michael Cole & Steven Richards. Steven Richards made a hasty exit as Michael Cole asked him what was going on. Steven said that Taker was responsible for the dismantling of the Right to Censor, so Steven was challenging Taker to a match on SmackDown! COMMISSIONER'S OFFICE: Regal/Tajiri & Big Show. In William Regal's office, the commissioner warned Tajiri to watch out for Torrie Wilson. Regal also told Tajiri that if he found a partner, he could face the Dudley Boyz in a No. 1 contender match for the Federation Tag Team Championships! Then the Big Show walked in and volunteered his services! BACKSTAGE: Stone Cold/Debra & The Alliance. As Stone Cold and Debra arrived in the arena, the rest of the Alliance waited and surprised the Rattlesnake! Stephanie told Austin that he was inspiring, and that it was great to see what Austin did to Kurt Angle's gold medals. Austin said that he threw Angle's medals in the river for the whole Alliance. Austin asked if anyone had seen Angle lately, and Stephanie said no. She also added that the Alliance had a huge surprise planned for Stone Cold later in the night! NO 1 CONTENDERS MATCH: Tajiri/Big Show vs The Dudleyz The Japanese Buzzsaw took it to both Dudleys at the beginning of the match, but after a double team, Tajiri found himself the victim of a Dudley beating. As that went on, Torrie Wilson came to ringside with a very concerned look on her face. When Tajiri was able to make the tag, Big Show entered the ring and nearly decimated the Dudleys. Tajiri made a blind tag and went to hit Bubba with the Green Mist, but he accidentally hit the Show! When he rolled out of the ring, he knocked Torrie over and out! In the ring, the Dudleys won after hitting Tajiri with a 3D! When the match ended, Big Show carried Torrie to the back for medical attention, and the Dudleys got out a table! Bubba nailed Tajiri through the table with a powerbomb, but the Dudleys were chased out of the ring when the Big Show ran back down to assist Tajiri! LOCKER ROOM: Christian, Shane McMahon & Booker T. Christian polished the King of the Ring trophy when Shane McMahon and Booker T entered. Shane told Christian that he had a proposition - Shane and Booker would go to ringside with Christian to make sure everything was fair, and after Christian won, he would offer Booker T the first title shot on SmackDown! Christian eagerly agreed. LOCKER ROOM: Stone Cold/Debra & Stephanie. Stephanie entered the room and Austin nearly jumped out of his skin! Austin told Steph that she needed to knock, because she scared Debra half to death. Stpehanie aplogized, and told Austin that his surprise was getting nearer. Austin told Stephanie that Debra was asking if Angle was anywhere nearby, and Stephanie told everyone not to worry, because Angle wouldn't show his face. As Austin went to drink a beer, he cracked it open and nearly jumped out of his skin again! MATCH: Shawn Stasiak w/ Stacy vs Spike Dudley w/ Molly. Stasiak used his size advantage over Spike as Keibler cheered on from ringside. When Spike went to nail Shawn, Stacy grabbed his ankle, causing him to fall. Spike go t back up though, and pinned Stasiak after nailing him with a Dudley Dog! After the match, Stacy started pushing Spike around! So Molly got in the ring and started pounding on Stacy! BACKSTAGE: Christian & Edge. As Christian prepared for his match against The Rock, Edge entered the room and told Christian that it would be totally cool if Christian won the WCW Title. Christian agreed and said that he didn't want Edge to come to ringside, because he wanted to win the title on his own. Christian then told Edge that he realized how wrong he was to keep holding the King of the Ring trophy, and gave it to his brother. Christian added that after he won the WCW Title, which is more prestigious than the Intercontinental Title, he and Edge would still be brothers, no matter what! IN THE BACK: Perry Saturn & Hurricane Helms. Perry Saturn told Hurricane Helms that he needed help finding Moppy's kidnapper. The Hurricane examined the ransom note and deduced that Matt Hardy had something to do with Moppy's disappearance. Helms said that his "Hurri-sense" was telling him that Matt Hardy was not what he seemed. IN THE RING: Booker T. Booker T made his way to the ring and grabbed a microphone to be the guest ring announcer for the WCW Championship match. The Book the introduced the special guest timekeeper - WCW Owner Shane McMahon. WCW TITLE MATCH: The Rock vs Christian. Booker then introduced the challenger, Toronto's own Christian. Finally, Booker introduced the WCW Champion, The Rock! Before the match began, Booker T and Shane both hit Rock with some cheap shots. Christian got Rock back in the ring, and the match was underway. As the match went on, The Rock was continually a victim of outside interference by Booker and Shane. The Rock kept coming back, doing his best to overcome the beating he was taking from three men. Booker T slid the WCW Title belt into the ring, and when Christian went to hit Rock with it, the champion ducked it and started pounding on Christian. The Rock locked Christian in a sharp shooter when Shane interfered once again. Christian made a cover, but The Rock was shockingly able to kick out at two. The Rock got up and hit Christian with a Rock Bottom and made the pin to retain the WCW Championship! When the match ended, The Rock called Booker T into the ring, and when Rock started pounding on him, Shane came in and hit him from behind! Then, the APA entered the ring and ran off both Booker and Shane! BACKSTAGE: Stephanie & Debra. Outside Stone Cold's locker room, Stephanie and Debra got ready to go pick up Austin's surprise. When they found out it was ready, Debra stuck her head in the door and told Austin not to come out until they told him to. IN THE RING: Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie then made her way out to the ring. The Princess told the Canadian crowd that they were backwards - for example, Canadians shouldn't celebrate Labour Day, because Canada is the laziest country in the world! Steph said that no worked harder than Americans, and the hardest working one is Stone Cold Steve Austin! Then, the most paranoid SOB in sports-entertainment walked out to the ring. Stephanie then showed Stone Cold his surprise - a brand new pickup truck! In the parking area, Debra showed off the features of Austin's new truck and then asked Stone Cold to come back to take her in a ride in it! Austin and Stephanie hurried their way to the back. When they got there, Austin said that he loved his new truck! As he admired it, Kurt Angle jumped out of a production truck and hit Austin from behind! He threw a cinder block with a chain attatched to it in the truck and took off with Austin knocked out in the back! INTERGENDER TAG TEAM MATCH: Matt Hardy/Lita vs Ivory/Helms. When Matt went to hit the Hurricane with a legdrop, Perry Saturn ran to ringside and grabbed him! That allowed the Hurricane to make the pin on Matt! After the match ended, Saturn attacked Helms, and demanded to know where Moppy was! BACKSTAGE: Edge & Christian - Lance Storm. Edge tried to console his brother when Lance Storm came up and said that both of them were pathetic. Edge told Storm that he was pathetic, and he wouldn't have to worry about any shenanigans later, because Edge would straight-up beat his ass! Christian just sat by and stared at the ceiling. ALLIANCE DRESSING ROOM: The Alliance. Stephanie called the "Canadian Police" and described Austin's truck when suddenly, footage appeared on the television of Kurt Angle and Stone Cold. Angle parked the car and started speaking to Austin, who was blindfolded and chained up. Angle took off the blindfold and showed Austin where they were - a river in Toronto. As Austin said he was sorry, Angle kept asking him "What?" Angle threatened to throw Austin over the bridge, and Stone Cold kept saying he was sorry, and Angle said he didn't want to do it. Austin said thank you, and Angle continued saying he didn't want to do it - but only because the bridge wasn't nearly high enough! Back at the arena, Stephanie demanded that the members of the Alliance get moving so someone could help Stone Cold! IC TITLE MATCH: Edge vs Lance Storm. Edge retained his championship after a physical bout. After the match, Storm went to assault Edge with a steel chair when Christian ran down to the ring with a chair of his own, running off Storm. The two brothers embraced, and then Christian gave Edge his King of the Ring trophy. As Edge stood there, Christian wound up and smacked Edge over the head with his chair! Then Christian screamed at Edge and threw the trophy at him! As Edge lie in pain, Christian kept pounding on his brother with the chair! THE MAIN EVENT: Rhyno/RVD vs Jeff Hardy/Chris Jericho. Early in the match, Jericho tagged in Jeff Hardy, who was immediately pounded on by RVD. But, even with his sore ribs, Jeff made it to the top rope and hit RVD with a Swanton Bomb! Even though he had took down Van Dam, Hardy hurt himself in the process. Finally, Jeff was able to tag in Jericho, who took out Rhyno but then was attacked by RVD! Jericho reversed on of Van Dam's holds, however, and pinned Van Dam for the win! SOMEWHERE IN TORONTO: Kurt Angle & Stone Cold. At a different, higher, bridge in Toronto, Kurt Angle led Stone Cold to the edge. Stone Cold said that he was sorry for throwing his medals in the Detroit River, and that he would go back and get them. Angle said it was too late for that. Kurt said he wanted Austin to beg, and then he put the blindfold back on Austin! Angle said if he didn't beg and cry, Angle would throw Austin over the edge faster than Austin threw his medals over the edge last week! IN THE RING: Debra & Kurt Angle. Debra pleaded with Kurt Angle not to hurt her husband. She cried and sobbed and said that Austin may be a bad guy, but he was the love of her life. She begged Kurt not to hurt her husband. BACK AT THE BRIDGE: Kurt Angle & Stone Cold. Angle demanded for Austin to beg. Austin said he was sorry, and Angle kept asking him "What?" Austin said he was so sorry. Angle called him pathetic for begging him, and then told him to cry. Austin said he couldn't cry. Angle told him to cry, and Austin started crying. Angle called him pathetic and a joke! Austin said he was sorry and that he was such a jackass for throwing his medals into the river. Angle said there was one thing he wanted more than his medals - a match for the WWF Championship! Austin said it was Angle's match to name, and Angle said he wanted it at Unforgiven in Angle's hometown of Pittsburgh, PA! Austin agreed. Alliance Superstars gathered around the ring as Stone Cold addressed the crowd from between the ropes. The Rattlesnake said that despite losing to fellow Alliance Superstar Rob Van Dam last week, and despite being humiliated by Kurt Angle, Stone Cold was still the Federation Champion and he was not ashamed. However, he was ashamed of everyone in the arena and watching on television because they will be cheering for Kurt Angle at Unforgiven. Austin said he was ashamed of people taking credit for something they do not deserve. He called Rob Van Dam into the ring. Austin asked RVD who he thinks he is. "I'm Rob Van Dam," came the reply. Stone Cold said he didn't like the Federation Hardcore Champion. "I don't like you either," RVD responded to the Rattlesnake, who stood inches away. Van Dam dropped his championship belt and both men looked ready to rumble. But Austin suddenly grabbed Van Dam in a giant hug! Austin said he liked RVD because he had so much confidence; Confidence that he gathered to Austin. Austin said RVD was so confident, that Mr. Monday Night would challenge Kurt Angle to a match that night! Van Dam said it would be an honor to challenge the Olympic Hero. Austin called Test into the ring. Test said that he had confidence about taking on WCW Champion The Rock that night! Test said he knew Booker T and Shane McMahon were booked for a Championship Match at Unforgiven. That's fine, Test said. The Rock can keep his belt tonight. Test just wants to beat The Rock's ass! Stone Cold asked if any other Alliance members had confidence, and into the ring came WCW United States Champion Kanyon. Kanyon challenged any Federation Superstar to come and try to take away the United States Champion. Kanyon said he was throwing out an open challenge just like Angle attempted to throw Austin over the bridge last week. Another query for a confident superstar brought Tazz into the ring. Tazz said there was a good possibility that Angle would kick Austin's ass and take the Federation Championship at Unforgiven. Austin responded by hitting Tazz with a Stunner, which prompted RVD, Test and Kanyon to stomp into Tazz! Austin got into Tazz's face and said he would beat down Angle at Unforgiven. He then ordered Test to deliver a Big Boot to the beaten Tazz and also demanded a Five Star Frog Splash from RVD! MATCH: Christian vs Billy Gunn. Christian dodged Gunn's finishing move and then used the ropes for leverage to pin Gunn! After the pinfall, Gunn knocked Christian out of the ring and continued to beat on him. But Christian recovered and smacked Gunn in the face with a steel chair! Christian grabbed another chair and hit his fallen opponent with a one man con-chair-to! BACKSTAGE: Test & Stephanie McMahon. Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley and Test winced while watching the action on TV backstage. Test said he was going to destroy The Rock just like that tonight, but he'd leave the title to be won by Booker T and Shane. He also said that breaking up with Stephanie was the best thing that ever happened to him because it toughened him up. Stephanie said that tonight, Test should take on The Rock in a handicap match, but let the WCW Champion choose who Test's partner will be. Test said it was ideas like that one that made Stephanie the most dominant female in sports entertainment. BACKSTAGE: Lance Storm & Hurricane Helms. Lance Storm praised The Hurricane for doing such a good job of mocking the Federation's humor by pretending to be a superhero. Hurricane thanked him, but said his Hurri-sense was confused because he was not pretending to be a superhero. Hurricane said he was off to find the psychic Ivory for the trio's match against the Hardys and Lita. As Hurricane dashed off, Storm was left shaking his head. 6-PERSON-TAG: Hardyz/Lita vs Storm/Hurricane/Ivory. Matt and Jeff Hardy along with Lita arrived at the ring for the intergender tag match. The Alliance came out and assumed command of the tempo. As Storm softened Matt Hardy in the ring, Hurricane donned his cape, climbed to the top rope and launched a flying crossbody at his opponent. But Matt rebounded and tried to went to hit a leg drop until Storm kicked him in the head. Jeff rebounded by sailing over the top rope and taking out Storm. Lita and Ivory continued the battle in the ring, with Lita almost getting the pin. Storm broke things up and tried to give Lita a superplex, only to have it broken up by Jeff Hardy. Hurricane interrupted, but Matt took control and set up Lita for a moonsault that gave Team Xtreme the win! INTERVIEW: Michael Cole & The Rock. Michael Cole knocked on The Rock's dressing room looking for an interview. Cole made a mistake by barging in on The Rock, who was in the shower. The Rock stormed out, and asked what in the blue hell was wrong with him. The Rock chastised Cole for rudely barging in on him then accused Cole of staring at The People's Strudel! APA DRESSING ROOM: APA & Chris Jericho. Bradshaw and Farooq were busy in a card game when Chris Jericho came in and asked if they were ready for their match with the Dudleys and Rhyno. The APA assured Y2J that they were. Jericho said the APA had a lot in common with Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley: The APA gives protection and Stephanie doesn't use protection! COMMISSIONER'S OFFICE: Regal & Tajiri/Torrie. Commissioner Regal told Tajiri - standing with his girlfriend Torrie - that the Japanese Buzzsaw would have a match that evening against Kanyon. Tajiri celebrated enthusiastically with Torrie at hearing the news. The Commissioner told Tajiri to keep his mind on winning the U.S. Title and not on the lovely Torrie. INTERVIEW: Michael Cole & The Rock. Michael Cole got his interview with The Rock, asking who would be Test's partner. First, The Rock said he had two words for Cole: eye contact. The Rock said tonight provided practice for his handicap match at Unforgiven. The Rock said the person needed to be fast, easy to manipulate, and - because that person had to line up with Test - needed to have no testicles. That person would have to be Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley! The Rock said he couldn't wait to face the former lovers. He could practically hear the wedding theme. "Here comes a Test," The Rock sang. "With the woman with enormous breasts." MATCH: Dudleyz/Rhyno vs APA/Jericho. A Clothesline from Hell followed by Jericho's Lionsault gave the Federation team a win after an intense, seesaw match. LOCKER ROOM: Stephanie & Test. Stephanie stormed in and asked test if he heard what The Rock said. Test said he didn't need Stephanie's help and that he would take on The Rock himself. Stephanie insisted on her involvement and said she would kick The Rock's ass! She ran off to prepare while Test continued to protest. BAcKSTAGE: Booker T & Undertaker. Booker T and the Undertaker were shown preparing for their confrontation, which would take place shortly. BACKSTAGE: Austin/Debra & Rob Van Dam. Stone Cold Steve Austin and Debra relaxed in their locker room when RVD came in. RVD asked Austin if he should put the Hardcore Championship on the line. RVD said he preferred the hardcore style. Austin said if he were Hardcore Champion, he'd put the title on the line, so RVD should too. Austin said when he looks at Van Dam, he sees RVD being the next Stone Cold within five to 10 years. Van Dam thanked him. "But I'm just fine being RVD." MATCH: The Undertaker vs Booker T. The action soon spread outside the ring with Booker T grabbing a steel chair and trying to bask it into the Undertaker's skull. Fortunately for the Dead Man, referee Earl Hebner disarmed Booker T. Taker took over the pace when the men returned to the ring. Booker T went for a Scissors Kick, but Taker blocked it and went for a chokeslam when Stevie Richards raced in! Taker knocked Richards down, but was caught from behind with a Booker T Scissors Kick! Booker took the pin. After the match, Taker grabbed Steven Richards and set to deliver a Last Ride when Kronik broke things up! Brian Adams and Bryan Clark assualted the Undertaker until Steven Richards ordered the two to slam he Dead Man through the announce table. Taker fought back, but three on one was too much for him to handle. Kronic sent Undertaker smashing through the table! BACKSTAGE: Stephanie. Stephanie talked with Shane via cell phone from outside the arena. Stephanie argued with Shane that she was good enough to take on The Rock that night. Sick of fighting with her brother, Stephanie hung up and headed back inside. US TITLE MATCH: Kanyon vs Tajiri. A brutal match as both men suffered crushing hits. Kanyon found himself locked in the tarantula, but fought out of it and went for his championship belt. Torrie stepped in and made sure Kanyon wouldn't use the title to his advantage. Shortly after, Tajiri spewed green mist at Kanyon and took the pin! The new WCW United States Champion celebrated with Torrie in the ring. BACKSTAGE: RVD & Stone Cold. RVD and Stone Cold stood face to face. Austin ordered Van Dam to beat the hell out of Angle for himself, for Stone Cold, for the entire Alliance. "Go out there and show me what you got," the red-faced Rattlsnake yelled. Van Dam cooly asked why Austin was so excited, saying it couldn't be healthy. RVD said he would go out and do what Austin couldn't do at SummerSlam: beat Kurt Angle with a 1-2-3. "Because I'm RV-" "I know who you are!" Austin angrily cut in. He told Van Dam to go out and get it done. HARDCORE TITLE MATCH: RVD vs Kurt Angle. Early on, Angle latched his ankle lock on RVD, but Van Dam made his way to the ropes. The match spilled outside the ring where Van Dam executed a stunning backflip body press off the steps. After recovering, Angle put RVD in the ankle lock only to be hit on the head by a steel chair from Van Dam. Inside the ring once again, Angle slammed Van Dam hard onto a steel chair. The carnage continued as both men savagely beat on each other. A dazed RVD staggered to the entrance ramp where Angle took control. At the top of the entrance ramp, Van Dam went for a spinning kick, but Angle caught the move and put on the ankle lock to force RVD to tap out! No sooner had a new Hardcore Champion been crowned that Steve Austin raced out and pushed Angle off the platform to the hard floor several feet below! Austin went over and helped Van Dam up, but threw Van Dam off the platform and onto Angle! Austin ordered the referee to count the pinfall to allow Van Dam to retake the title! A sinister smile curled Austin's lip as he strolled backstage. Paramedics strapped Kurt Angle onto a stretcher and moved him out of the arena. Paul Heyman argued that Angle would have pushed Stone Cold off the platform too, a theory that JR vehemently disagreed with. MAIN EVENT HANDICAP MATCH: Test/Stephanie vs The Rock. The main event of the evening began with Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley personally introducing, "The man who will help me kick The Rock's ass ... Test!" Stephanie sat down next to Paul Heyman and donned a headset as The Rock emerged from beneath the TitanTron. Test got the early jump on The Great One and assumed control. The Rock battled back with a Samoan Drop and then hurled Test over the top rope. Once Test disabled Rocky outside the ring, Stephanie literally stepped in. She landed a series of kicks to The Rock's body before Test brought the WCW Champion back in the ring. Rock managed to kick out of Test's cover after taking a sidewalk slam. The San Antonio crowd began chanting The Rock's name while Test pummled The Rock. A sudden DDT from The Rock sent both men to the mat and evened things up. The Rock then took over, landing a series of shots to Test in the corner. Test fell victim to a spinebuster and Rocky readied a People's Elbow. Stephanie averted the most electrifying move in sports entertainment by grabbing Rock's ankle when he neared the rope. Test took advantage and landed a Big Boot to Rock's face when The Great One turned around! Stephanie then tried to cover The Rock but he kicked out! Rock threw Test out of the ring and went for a Rock Bottom on Stephanie, but Test caught Rock from begind. Booker T began walking to ringside, and managed to catch Stephanie just as Rock - thrown by Test - crashed into Stephanie. Test turned back to The Rock and found himself dropped by a Rock Bottom which allowed the WCW Champion to hold his title. BACKSTAGE: Michael Cole & Steve Austin. Michael Cole caught up with Stone Cold Steve Austin and said Angle's neck appeared to be severely injured. Cole asked what Stone Cold said about the possibility that Austin might not have an opponent for Unforgiven. Stone Cold let out an evil laugh then grabbed Cole, stuffed the microphone in his face, and mocked the question. 	90Min	09.17.01	KICKOFF - WWF TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: Kane/Taker vs Dudleyz. The Big Red Machine entered the match with his left elbow heavily taped, but still went right after D-Von Dudley. When Taker was tagged into the match, he took down Bubba Dudley, but D-Von re-entered the ring and helped his brother take out the Undertaker. Taker battled back, and tagged his brother Kane into the match, but the Dudleys once again double-teamed the Big Red Machine. As D-Von kept Kane busy in the ring, Bubba went after a table, and set it up outside the ring. After getting back into the ring against the Brothers of Destruction, both Dudleys found out exactly why Taker and Kane have earned that name, as the two destroyed D-Von and Bubba. Kane took Bubba outside the ring and went to chokeslam him through the table, but Kronik and Steven Richards ran to the ring and threw Kane through the table! With Kane eliminated, Bubba and D-Von hit Taker with a 3D, and pinned Undertaker to win the WWF Tag Team Championship! PARKING LOT: Shane McMahon & Richards/Kronic. Shane McMahon pulled in in his "WCW1" limo and was greeted by Steven Richards and Kronik. After Steven introduced himself, he offered his and Kronik's services to the Alliance! Shane said they were welcome to join him - and then Shane said that since he was able to book matches for WCW Championships, he would put Undertaker and Kane - the current WCW Tag Team Champions - in a match against Kronik at Unforgiven! BACKSTAGE: Lance Storm. As Lance Storm leafed through the new Extreme Magazine, the Hurricane entered the room and asked Storm if he knew of someone who could be the Hurricane's new sidekick. After Storm suggested Ivory, the Hurricane said that his Hurri-sense was telling him the right person for the job. The Hurricane then wooshed away from the scene. BACKSTAGE: Steve Austin/Debra & RVD. As Stone Cold Steve Austin arrived at the arena, he was greeted by Rob Van Dam, who was waiting for him in his dressing room. RVD had a question for Austin - why did he throw him off the stage last Monday on RAW? Austin said he did that to help him win his Hardcore Championship back from Kurt Angle. RVD said that was fine, as long as he and Austin were cool. RVD then told Stone Cold that a lot of the Alliance members were asking him for advice in the absence of Stone Cold. Austin grew hostile and asked RVD to tell him who was asking advice, but Van Dam wouldn't tell! MATCH: Jeff Hardy vs Lance Storm. After some brutal and high-flying action, Jeff Hardy kept going for the pin, but Storm kicked out each time! Ivory then distracted Jeff, and Storm went to make a pin, but Jeff kicked out! Ivory once again went to distract Jeff, but Lita went after her! Jeff went to hit Storm with a Swanton Bomb, but Lance got his knees up! Storm then locked Jeff into his Half-Boston Crab hold, forcing Jeff to tap out! LOCKER ROOM: Shane & Stephanie..... Tazz. Shane asked Stephanie what she was thinking when she teamed with Test to take on The Rock last week! Stephanie said she had a plan, but it went wrong. Shane then asked her if she was crazy for doing the same thing once again this week! Stephanie said she had a plan, and this time, it was going to be successful. Steph told Shane that he wasn't her boss, but before she could continue, they were interrupted by Tazz, who said he needed to let some frustration out! Shane said he could in his match later. As Tazz left the room, Shane smirked as he said that the mood was about to change. MATCH: Perry Saturn vs Shawn Stasiak w/ Stacy Keibler. Stasiak took Saturn down to the mat, but Perry kicked out, which prompted Stacy to get up on the ring apron. As the referee was distracted, Stasiak was unable to take advantage. Once Stasiak got back in the action, he went to hit Saturn, but instead flubbed the move and hit himself in the face! Saturn took advantage and made the pin! After the match, Raven and Terri appeared on the TitanTron and told Saturn that they knew where Moppy was - then they revealed that she was strapped to a wood chipper! Raven turned the chipper on and Moppy became mulch! BACKSTAGE: Stephanie & RVD. Stephanie paced in anger over what her brother had said when Rob Van Dam walked up and asked her if there was anything he could do that would make her feel better. Stephanie said that he could pin Chris Jericho later. RVD asked if that was it, and she said that he could also put the Hardcore title on the line against Jericho at Unforgiven! RVD said it would be no problem! BACKSTAGE: Molly - Hurricane - Spike. As Molly got dressed in her locker room, the Hurricane entered and asked if Molly wanted to be his new sidekick. When Spike entered the room, he asked what was going on. The Hurricane wondered what was up with Spike's hostility, and then told Molly to think about his proposal before he once again whooshed out of the room. BACKSTAGE: Shane/Booker & Tazz. Tazz walked into a locker room and interrupted Shane McMahon and Booker T, wondering who his opponent would be. Shane said that Tazz would be facing Shane and Booker in a handicap match! That would enable Booker and Shane to warm up for Unforgiven, and it would allow Tazz to get out his frustrations with the Alliance! HANDICAP MATCH: Booker/Shane vs Tazz. Shane and Booker used their man advantage on Tazz from the outset, but Tazz was able to fight off Shane. When Shane "The Money" McMahon made the tag to the Book, the match spilled outside the ring. There, as Booker distracted the ref, the Money started pounding on Tazz. After tossing Tazz back into the ring, Shane was tagged in, where he put Tazz on his back. The Red Hook native got back up and took down Shane, and then flattened Booker T! Tazz locked Booker into the Tazzmission, but Shane took out Tazz with a low blow. After Booker did the Spinarooni, Shane hit a flying elbow and made the pin on Tazz! INTERVIEW: Jonathan Coachman & Christian. The Coach asked Christian where Edge was. Christian replied by saying that he was impressed with how many people came to see his entrance video in person! Christian then said that Edge was probably spending all the time he could with the Intercontinental Championship, because he would be losing it at Unforgiven! EUROPEAN TITLE MATCH: Hurricane Helms vs Spike Dudley w/Molly. During the match, The Hurricane asked Molly to put on his cape, but she refused. She threw it back in the ring, and Hurricane went after it. Molly climbed the ropes, waiting to nail The Hurricane. When he turned around, Molly flew at him, but she hit Spike instead! The Hurricane made the pin, and after the match, Molly tried to console Spike. BACKSTAGE: Torrie Wilson & Shane McMahon. As Torrie Wilson walked through the backstage area, Shane McMahon walked up to her and told her that when the Alliance was ready to pull the plug on Tajiri, she would be ready. Torrie agreed, but looked worried after Shane walked away. INTERVIEW: Michael Cole & Kurt Angle. Kurt Angle told Michael Cole that he would become WWF Champion at Unforgiven. As he spoke, Ron Van Dam walked up. Angle asked if he could help him, and RVD said he was just listening, like last week, he was listening when the fans were chanting three letters - RVD! Angle said that later on RAW, and at Unforgiven, the fans would be chanting three different letters - U.S.A.! US TITLE MATCH: Tajiri /w Torrie vs Christian. The Japanese Buzzsaw was accompanied to the ring by Torrie Wilson, who kissed Tajiri before he entered the ring. Christian took advantage of that kiss and began the match as quickly as he could. As Tajiri tried to build up some offensive momentum, Christian kept fighting back. After Tajiri locked on the Tarantula, Christian took the match outside the ring. Christian went for a steel chair, and scared Torrie away from the ring. Tajiri went to hit Christian with the Green Mist, but he spit it in the eyes of the official! Christian dragged Tajiri back into the ring and went to hit him with the One-Man Con-Chairto, when Edge entered the ring! Christian ran to the back as Edge was held back in the ring by officials. As Tajiri was being helped to the back by Torrie, Rhyno Gored him! In the back, Shane told him that because of what Rhyno did, he would get a match against Tajiri for the WCW U.S. Championship at Unforgiven! HANDICAP MATCH: Stephanie/Test vs The Rock. The action began with Test and Rock in the ring, but Rocky quickly exited the ring and knocked Stephanie off the ring apron. The Rock re-entered the ring, where Test was waiting for him. The Rock fought his way back and began laying the smack down on Test. After Rock nailed Test with a DDT, Rock went for a pin, but Test kicked out. Then, Test tagged in his partner Stephanie! Rock went to hit Steph with a Rock Bottom, but Test made the save! Stephanie quickly tagged Test, who was hit by a Rock Bottom! When Rock went for the pin, the referee, Nick Patrick, was in the corner talking to Stephanie! So Rock got up and hit Patrick with a Rock Bottom! With Test and the referee down, Rock dragged Stephanie into the ring. As Rock went after her, Shane Mcmahon and Booker T entered the ring and took down The Rock! As Test and Shane held up Rock, Booker flattened him! Shane hit Rock with a flying elbow and then did the Mac-arooni - his version of the Spinarooni! Booker hit Rock with a Book End, and then Stephanie covered Rock to win the match for herself and Test! BACKSTAGE: RVD. RVD walked to Stone Cold Steve Austin's locker room and went to open the door, but it was locked! RVD knocked on the door, but Austin wouldn't let him in. Instead he hollered through the door and told Van Dam to meet him out in the ring. THE MAIN EVENT: Jericho/Angle vs Austin/RVD. Y2J began the match immediately, going after RVD as the crowd chanted U.S.A. When the match entered the ring, it was Jericho against Austin. Soon, Van Dam entered the frey and started pounding on Jericho, but Jericho reversed a hold and took down RVD, enabling him to tag in Angle. Soon, the battle spilled outside the ring, where RVD and Jericho began brawling, in a preview of their match at Unforgiven. Meanwhile, Austin and Angle just stood in separate corners. Eventually, Austin and Angle were tagged in, where Jericho and Angle double-teamed Austin! RVD went to help Austin, but accidentally hit the Rattlesnake! After the referee was knocked out, Angle locked Austin in the Ankle Lock! RVD made the save to help Austin! As Jericho locked Van Dam in the Walls of Jericho, Austin got the ring bell and nailed Jericho with it. As the crowed chanted for the U.S.A., Angle made his way to his feet and nailed Austin with the Angle Slam! He covered Austin and made the pin for the win! Jim Ross states that everyone was awaiting the arrival of the "former" World Wrestling Federation Champion, Stone Cold Steve Austin! 6-MAN TAG: Taker/Kane/Bradshaw vs Dudleyz/Test. Bradshaw wasted no time by attacking Test before he could get into the ring. Once Test recovered, he tagged in D-Von Dudley, who was met with a fall away slam. Kane then proceeded to take apart the Alliance trio until a Test boot to the face nearly ended the match. The Dudleys and Test worked over the Big Red Machine for the next five minutes until Kane caught Test in a powerslam and tagged in the Undertaker. A short time later, Bradshaw took out Bubba Ray Dudley with his Clothesline from Hell, which left D-Von prey for Taker's Last Ride and a win for the Federation trio! WINNERS: Taker/Kane/Bradshaw. BACKSTAGE: Torrie & Stacy. Torrie Wilson was applying makeup when she heard a knock on a door. She thought it was Tajiri, but instead it was Stacy Keibler. Stacy asked her friend she was involved with Tajiri, who was not a member of the Alliance. Torrie told Stacy it was nobody's business why she was involved with Tajiri, and that at least she had a man! Stacy -- who said she likes her men tall, dark and handsome -- insisted she can snap her fingers and have any man she wanted, and offered to find a man to fight Tajiri. Torrie gladly accepted, saying they don't call her man the Japanese Buzzsaw for nothing! PARKING LOT: Christain. A live shot of the parking lot showed a limo pulling in. Paul Heyman was expecting Steve Austin, but instead, Christian, the new Intercontinental Champion, walked out. Christian instructed a parking attendant to protect him from his hordes of fans by walking him to the building, and then come back to the limo and get his bags. ALLIANCE LOCKER ROOM: Shane McMahon, Stephanie McMahon & The Alliance. Shane McMahon addressed the Alliance troops to tell him they could not have a night like Unforgiven, and that they should give Stone Cold a standing ovation when he arrives. Shane said that Austin did not lose the Federation Championship, and had tape to prove it. He insisted that Austin did not tap out, but instead reached under the bottom rope, therefore, the match should have continued. Shane also said that two other people were screwed by Earl Hebner -- he and Booker T -- so tonight was going to be all about revenge. Then an excited Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley entered and asked if everyone was excited about her birthday. She disagreed with her brother and said tonight was not about revenge, but about leadership by example. The Billion Dollar Princess proclaimed that one man from the Alliance stood out as a leader at Unforgiven -- Rob Van Dam -- much to the dismay of Booker T. Steph said that she was going to give herself a birthday present -- a WCW Title Match between The Rock and RVD! Booker again looked angry, but Shane said that Booker would challenge Kurt Angle and bring the Federation Championship back to the Alliance, which pumped up the five-time WCW Champion! MATCH: Tajiri w/Torri vs Tazz w/ Stacy. Tajiri and Torrie Wilson walked to the ring to await Stacy Keibler's choice of opponent, someone who was tall, dark and handsome: Tazz, accompanied by Stacy, who grabbed the mic to tell Torrie that "two out of three ain't bad!" Tazz went right to work on Tajiri's injured ribs in this rematch from SummerSlam. Tajiri counted with a back kick, handspring flying elbow and the Tarantula. After a roundhouse kick to Tazz's head, Stacy suddenly grabbed Tajiri and kissed him, which prompted Torrie to slap her in the face! While the two Alliance women quarreled outside, Tazz caught Tajiri in the Tazzmission to win the match, much to Stacy's delight! BACKSTAGE: Shane & Booker T. Shane gave Booker T a pep talk and told him that tonight the Book could be the "first-time, first-time, first-time, World Wrestling Federation Champion!" Shane told Booker that although he couldn't be out there with him, he would be with him in spirit. After Booker left the room, Shane told himself he had something to take care of. J.R. and Heyman officially announced the Kurt Angle - Booker T Federation Championship match, and that Commissioner William Regal ruled that nobody would be allowed ringside, not even WCW owner Shane McMahon. US TITLE MATCH: Rhyno vs Jeff Hardy. Hardy's quickness worked until Rhyno caught him a spinebuster, but Rhyno's decision to ascend to the top rope and attempt a splash failed. Hardy floored Rhyno with a series of unorthodox maneuvers until being caught in a belly-to-belly suplex. Hardy once again came back and went to the top for the Swanton Bomb. But Rhyno moved at the last minute. His first attempt at the Gore missed, but when Hardy came off the second rope, Rhyno's second attempt was successful as he caught him in mid-air to win the match! BACKSTAGE: Ivory, Lance Storm, Hurricane Helms. Lance Storm and Ivory were talking in the hallway when they were joined by The Hurricane, who revealed he was thinking about for their upcoming six-person match. Hurricane's "Hurri-senses" told Ivory she was in grave danger, and told her to wait for them at the entrance. With Ivory gone and out of earshot, Hurricane told Storm he was ready to commit to Molly Holly to be his full-time sidekick, and after the match, Molly would have no choice but to see the Hurri-light! Hurricane then asked Storm to activate the Hurri-twin powers! Hurricane took the shape of a hurricane, while Storm reluctantly took the form of an ice storm! BACKSTAGE: Kanyon & RVD. Kanyon approached Rob Van Dam for advice, telling him he was all freaked out and worried that Stone Cold would take his frustrations out on him. RVD told him not to worry and to just chill, and asked him what happened to that "Who better than Kanyon" attitude. Kanyon thanked RVD and told him, "Who better than RVD?" 6-PERSON-TAG: Ivory/Hurricane/Storm vs Molly/Spike/Big Show. Hurricane challenged Show to a test of strength, but failed miserably! Hurricane then slapped Show, but was simply tossed aside and tagged in Ivory, who was also no match for the Show! Big Show then tagged in Molly, who went to work on Ivory. When Ivory had Molly open for a Storm kick, Hurricane stopped him and asked, "What's up with that?" Hurricane then donned the cape and took to the air -- and landed on Spike. But Spike fought back with a flying head scissors and tagged Show back in. Show began to clean house and set up Hurricane for the chokeslam until Ivory broke it up. With Storm down, Molly climbed up Show's shoulders and pinned Storm with the Molly-Go-Round! BACKSTAGE: Shane McMahon & Earl Hebner. Earl Hebner met with Shane McMahon. Shane told Hebner he screwed he and Booker out of the WCW Title and Steve Austin out of the Federation Championship at Unforgiven. Shane then showed Hebner the tape, which showed Austin's right hand under the bottom rope. Hebner explained that Austin was tapping out, and that he made an honest mistake, but his decision still stands and Kurt Angle was still the Federation Champion. Shane warned that mistakes had better not happen during Booker's match with Angle, and that when Stone Cold arrives, Hebner had better make himself scarce. WWF TITLE MATCH: Kurt Angle vs Booker T. The new and proud Federation Champion Kurt Angle soaked in the cheers of the Columbus crowd before his title def ense against Booker T. The match began with an Angle belly-to-back suplex and a near fall, but Booker countered with an elbow and a near fall of his own. Angle almost ended the match in under two minutes with the Ankle Lock, but Booker was able to reach the ropes. Booker then began to target Angle's injured neck and continually halted any attempt at an Angle rally. Angle finally mounted some offense with a belly-to-belly suplex and a German suplex. When Angle went for the Angle Slam, Booker countered by apparently throwing Angle into referee Earl Hebner, and put Angle down with a sidekick to Angle's neck. Booker then leveled Angle with the Federation Championship belt, but Angle was able to kick out at the last half second. Booker then went for the Book End, which Angle counted into a back suplex. After a second Booker kick to Angle's neck, Booker showed off the Spineroonie. But Booker missed a follow-up sidekick, and Angle locked on the Angle lock. Booker had no choice but to tap out, and Angle retained the Federation Championship! BACKSTAGE: Lita & Kanyon. Lita was hanging out in the weight room when Kanyon walked in and asked her to hang out after his match with Matt Hardy, to find out personally the answer to the question, "Who better than Kanyon? Nobody baby!" Lita asked Kanyon to repeat himself, which confirmed her belief that he did, in fact, have a speech impediment. IC TITLE MATCH: Christian vs Chris Jericho. The champion bragged that the world discovered who the better brother was at Unforgiven. He then announced the moment he had waited for his whole life -- his very own five-second pose, which was interrupted by Jericho's entrance. While on the outside, Christian grabbed the ring bell, and hit Jericho in the head with it to force a disqualification. But Christian wasn't through. He had Jericho set up for the one-man Con-chair-to, but missed. Y2J then locked Christian in the Walls of Jericho! Christian was tapping, but it took three Federation officials to pry Y2J off of him! COMMISSIONER'S OFFICE: X-Pac & William Regal. X-Pac was talking on the telephone in Commissioner Regal's office complaining to someone about the lack of television time. Regal asked what in the blue hell X-Pac was doing in his office, and X-Pac accused Regal of never getting him on TV time and doing nothing as a Commissioner. Regal screamed X-Pac that he will get his TV time -- a match with the Commissioner himself! RVD was stretching his legs when he was approached by Raven, who complained he was in a funk of late and that losing to Perry Saturn at Unforgiven was a new low. Van Dam told Raven he needed to lighten up and snap out of it. Then Stephanie arrived and shook RVD's hand. She told him she was so impressed with his leadership skills and that she saw greatness in him. She also said that after she def The Rock for the WCW Title, he would be the leader of the Alliance. RVD told Steph that he didn't know about being a leader, but he was honored to get the title shot. Van Dam assured Stephanie he would not let her down, and Stephanie told him he had better not. After she left, RVD seemed intrigued with the concept of Alliance leader! MATCH: Matt Hardy w/Lita vs Kanyon. Kanyon seemed more focused on hitting on Lita than the match, but a Lita slap to his face seemed to put Kanyon back in focus, at least temporarily. After a couple of near falls, Kanyon was still eyeing Lita. The fight took to the top rope, where Hardy pushed Kanyon down and hit a leg drop from the second rope. Lita even contributed with a Lita-con-rada on Kanyon while on the outside. Matt had Kanyon ready for the Twist of Fate, but Kanyon pushed Hardy off and into Lita, which caused Lita to fall to the floor. That left Hardy open for a Kanyon Flatliner, and a victory for Kanyon. WINNER: Kanyon. VIGNETTE: Diamond Dallas Page DDP addressed fans with an evil smile! He admitted that although he was on the receiving end of a beating by the Undertaker, which was a good thing, because what mattered was not getting back down, but getting back up. DDP said he did some soul searching, and that he found the real DDP. He told people that they would like DDP, and DDP would help them like themselves. WWF NEW YORK: Tough Enough. Each "WWF Tough Enough" finalist explained why they deserved a guaranteed Federation contract. INTERVIEW: Michael Cole & The Rock. The Rock was asked by Michael Cole his thoughts about his WCW Title def ense against Rob Van Dam. The Rock explained that Unforgiven was a very special night for him because he walked out still the WCW Champion. Rock then said that tonight was also a special night because for the first time, he would be def ending the WCW Title against Rob Van Dam. Tonight was also special to The Rock because it was Stephanie's birthday, and he warned her that if she got involved in The Rock's match, then just like the doctor wiped all the afterbirth goo off her body 25 years ago, Rock would slap her candy ass! MATCH: XPac vs William Regal. The Commish ended a competitive, scientific, non-title by pinning X-Pac. WCW TITLE MATCH: The Rock vs Rob Van Dam. Rock got started with a couple of quick arm drag take downs, and RVD answered with a reverse heel kick. When the fight took to the outside, the Federation Hardcore Champion gained the advantage and nearly won after a flying karate kick from the top rope. Much to the delight of Stephanie, Van Dam continued on the offensive, ramming Rock's head into the steel steps before taking apart the American announce table. When RVD charged The Rock, the WCW Champion backdropped him on that very table. Back in the ring, Van Dam kicked out after a Rock spinebuster, and soon missed a split-legged moonsault. Stephanie then got involved by slapping The Rock. But the Great One battled back with a series of right hands, DDT and a Sharpshooter! But Stephanie climbed to the apron, which forced Rock to break the hold and chase Stephanie up the rampway. Rock grabbed Steph by the hair and dragged her into the ring. He was about to give her the Rock Bottom, but RVD caught him from behind. Van Dam then went up for the Five Star Frog Splash, but Stephanie pushed referee Charles Robinson into the ropes, which forced RVD to slip and fall! Angle suspects Stone Cold just said that so it would be a suprise when he DID show up. Angle calls Stone Cold out. No Answer. The Rock's music plays in The Rock comes to the Ring. The Rock challanges the Dudley Boyz to a match tonight. Shane McMahon's music plays and Shane McMahon appears at the entrance way. Shane forces The Rock to def end the WCW title against the Dudley Boyz in a handicap tables match, and Kurt Angle is banned from ringside. Shane challanges Kurt Angle to a WWF title match, Angle accept. Shane makes his way to the ring. The Dudleyz come out of the crowd and attack Rock & Angle. The Dudleyz put Angle through a table, powerbomb off the second rope. The Dudleyz give The Rock a 3D. RINGSIDE: Paul Heyman. Heyman has a fax machine at ringside. A Fax comes in from Stone Cold Steve Austin and Paul read it to the crowd. Basically it says that Austin resents that everybody thinks he is embarrassed about losing the WWF Title to Kurt Angle. MATCH: Spike Dudley vs Hurricane Helms. Mike Awesome interfers allowing Hurricane to get the pin. Hurricane leaves the arena and uncovers his 'new and improved' hurri-cycle. Hurricane introduces his new sidekick, Citizen Molly. Molly enters wearing a cape and jumps in the passenger seat of the hurri-cycle. Spike watches from ringside on the big screen, as Hurricane & Molly drive off. Spike is visibly upset. The Big Show comes on the Screen, talking from WWF NY. Big Show tells Spike not to let it get him down. Big Show says that this week on Smackdown, he is going to take Spike out on the town to party. RINGSIDE: Paul Heyman. Booker T, Test & RVD make their way to the ring for their match. Heyman gets another FAX from Stone Cold Steve Austin and reads it to the crowd. Austin recognises and congradulates Booker T & Test on winning the WCW Tag Team Titles. Austin says RVD is a lucky, talanted, young and ambitious superstar. Austin also reminds RVD of who the real leader of the Alliance is, which is Steve Austin. 6-MAN TAG: Booker T/Test/RVD vs Jericho/Kane/Taker. The Undertaker nearly botches the Last Ride on Test, but recovers. RVD pins Jericho for the win. INTERVIEW: Lilian Garcia & Torrie Wilson. Clips are shown of Heat, when Stacy & Torrie got into a fight. Just as Lilian ask a question, Stacy attacks Torrie and tries to rip her shirt off. Stacy also attacks Lilian, who has to be held back. BACKSTAGE: RVD, Mike Awesome, Shane McMahon. Mike Awesome thanks RVD for the advice, and that it really charged him up. Shane McMahon approaches RVD and expresses concern over Stephanie getting hurt during RVD's Hardcore match with Jericho on Smackdown. RVD def ends himself, saying he told Steph not to come down there. Shane says that he heard what Austin's Fax said and tells RVD not to 'assume' that he is the leader of the Alliance. RVD says he doesn't need to 'assume' 'cause he's Rob.. Van.. Dam.. WCW HANDICAP TABLES TITLE MATCH: The Rock vs The Dudley Boyz. As the Rock is arguing with referee Nick Patrick, Shane McMahon runs to the ring and hits Rock from behind, knocking Patrick out cold. Shane McMahon attacks Rock and puts him through a table. WCW Referee Charles Robinson comes to the ring and sees Rock through the table. Robinson retrieves the WCW Title and is about to give the title to the Dudleyz, but WWF Referee Mike Chioda comes to the ring and knocks Robinson out. Rock recovers and puts Bubba Ray through a table, for the win. VIGNETTE: DDP. DDP talks about Yogo and tells "us" to get your lazy butts off the couch and try it. MIXED-TAG: Tajiri & Torrie vs Tazz & Stacy. Tajiri puts Tazz in the taranchula, distracting the referee. Ivory comes to the ring and DDTs Torrie, allowing Stacy to get the PIN. RINGSIDE: Paul Heyman. Heyman gets yet another FAX from Stone Cold Steve Austin. This one states that Stone Cold resents the negitive comments by Jim Ross. Further comments will result in JR getting his ass kicked. Austin states that he is not a bully, that he hates bullies, and always has. Austin says he is a sensitive man. Jim Ross drills Heyman, saying "He's gonna be here tonight isn't he?" COMMISSIONER'S OFFICE: Regal, Ivory, Lance Storm. Ivory enters the Commissioner's office. Regals asks her why she's always sticking her nose in other peoples' business. Ivory says she does it because the more people see her, the more they like her. Ivory suggests mayve Regal would like to see more of her. Ivory asks if Regal like the tops *points at her breasts* or the bottoms *turns around and smacks her own butt*. Just then Lance Storm enters and says that this is Sexual Harassment and he has it in him to report it to the authorities. Regal gets irritated and tells Lance Storm to go to the ring for a match. RINGSIDE: Paul Heyman & William Regal. With Regal still in the ring, another FAX comes in from Stone Cold. Heyman read the FAX to Regal. It says that Regal should do the right thing and stripe Kurt Angle of the WWF title and return it to Stone Cold Steve Austin. Regal grabs Paul Heyman and tells Heyman to relay THIS message... Regal SLAPS heyman. IN THE RING: Christian, XPac, Edge, Albert, APA. Christian hits the ring and questions the fans as to shy they hate him so much. Christian complains about not getting any respect. XPac comes to the ring and says he knows how Christian feels. XPac says that he used to be part of the most popular group in the business (DX) and when he went solo, the fans chewed him up and spit him out. Edge comes to the entrance ramp. Edge says to XPac, just because he hung out with cool people, doesn't make HIM cool. Edge says that Christain talks big for a guy who, even after months of therepy, still wets the bed. Just then, Albert attacks Edge from behind. Edge gets triple teamed until the APA makes the save. MATCH: William Regal vs Lance Storm w/ Ivory. Regal makes Storm tap out. INTERVIEW: Tazz & Maven (Tough Enough Winner) Tazz tells Maven that he is very proud of him. Maven says that it's a dream come though. Tazz asks Maven if he is arare that he has a match on Smackdown. Maven is suprised. Tazz says his opponent will walk through the door. As Maven turns to look, Tazz attacks him from behind. Tazz says that HE is Maven's first opponent. After the match, BubbaRay lays out Tajiri. Stacy Keibler laughs at Tajiri. Torrie enters the ring and attacks Stacy. Tajiri gets up to def end Torrie but Tazz locks the crossface-chickenwing on Tajiri. The Dudleyz grab Torrie and Stacy instructs them to powerbomb her through a table from the second rope. EMTs come to the ring, as well as Commissioner Regal. IN THE RING: Stephenie McMahon.... Y2J........ Shane McMahon. SMH then returned to RAW, as the Billion-Dollar Princess made her way to the ring. Stephanie said that after seeing what had just happened to Torrie Wilson, the only thing she could say was "Big deal!" She said that Torrie had just gone through a table, but she had been pulverized by Chris Jericho two weeks ago on SmackDown! She said that Torrie had gotten what was coming to her, but that she was an innocent victim! Stephanie said she suffered two herniated discs, a bruised sternum and a concussion in the incident. She said that she was proud to be back. She said she felt great, and felt like she could do anything. Stephanie said she'd like nothing more than to see Stone Cold Steve Austin def eat Kurt Angle to become World Wrestling Federation Champion. As she continued to speak, the Y2J countdown began, and out came Jericho himself! As the crowd chanted for Y2J, Jericho told Stephanie that it was good to see her again. He asked if she had said that she felt like she could do ANYBODY, or be on her back, or that she had back, or that she was back. He said that makes sense too -- and speaking of two ... Before Jericho could go on, out came WCW owner Shane McMahon -- Stephanie's brother. The Boy Wonder talked about how Y2J had been making fun of Stephanie for years, and he had done nothing about it, because he thought Jericho was hilarious. Shane said he thought Y2J was funny, although Stephanie disagreed with him. He said he'd figured that Jericho would run out of material by now, but Y2J was a genius. He said that if Jericho had spent half the time focusing on his matches as he did on his jokes, he could have been a champion by now, but that's not what Jericho has chosen to do. Shane said there was always room for comic relief, but Y2J would never be anything other than a choke artist. Jericho said that Shane's comment was entertaining, but said that it would also be entertaining if Shane and Stephanie were to team up against him on RAW. He said that way, he could get their hands around their necks and show them what it really means to choke. Stephanie said she knew Y2J wanted nothing more than to get his hands on her body, but she wasn't stupid, and wouldn't put herself in that position. Instead, she said that Shane would team with Rob Van Dam -- who has pinned Y2J three times in recent weeks -- against Jericho and the partner of his choice, The Rock! He told Shane and Stephanie to choke on that! BACKSTAGE: RVD & Booker T/Test. RVD was watching backstage when he was approached by Booker T and Test, the WCW Tag Team Champions. Booker congratulated RVD on his recent success, but said he would have def Angle a lot faster last week on SmackDown! Booker pointed out that he was a five-time WCW Champion, and RVD said he couldn't believe that Booker had lost the title five times! RVD said he didn't want to be Booker, he wanted to be Rob ... Van ... Dam! VIGNETTE: DDP. Some mysterious footage then aired of a woman named Jennifer, who talked about how she was fat and out of shape weeks ago, and was very depressed, and how her husband didn't want to touch her. She said that since meeting DDP, she learned to like herself, and her husband liked to touch her again. She then bent over to illustrate "Positively Stretching!" Page then said that he wanted to touch her too, and that he liked her! DDP also said he would help the fans like him, and themselves! WCW TAG TITLE MATCH: T&T vs The Hardy Boyz w/Lita. Test and Booker used their power advantage early on to dominate the Hardys, but Team Xtreme battled back. Booker hit Jeff with the Book End, but Lita nailed a hurricanrana on Booker! Matt then hit the Twist of Fate on Booker. As Lita held Test's foot, Booker and Jeff hit each other with a double clothesline. Outside the ring, Test threw Lita over the barricade, and Matt attacked Test outside the ring. The Undertaker then made his way to the ring and gave Booker the Last Ride, with the ref on the outside! Jeff followed up with a Swanton Bomb, and pinned Booker as the Hardys became WCW Tag Team Champions! BACKSTAGE: Booker/Test - Lita - Hurricane & Molly. Moments later, Booker screamed at Test backstage that he had been nothing but disrespected since coming to RAW -- and he was gonna get some respect by taking out the Undertaker! Elsewhere, Lita was leaving the Hardys' locker room when she ran into The Hurricane and Mighty Molly. They said that the way the Hardys won the titles was dishonest, and Molly challenged Lita to a bout on RAW. Lita accepted, saying "Holy ass-kicking!." Hurricane asked, "What's up with that?" WCW US TITLE MATCH: Rhyno vs Edge. IC Champion, Christian, came to the ring to do commentary. It didn't take long for Christian to get involved in the match, trying to trip Edge. Rhyno then went to attack Edge, but hit Christian by accident! The match continued, and moments later, Edge was about to pin Rhyno when Christian pulled his brother out of the ring, as the match ended in a disqualification. After the bout, Rhyno went for the gore on Edge but missed, and Edge then speared his brother, who was waiting to attack him with a chair! TAG TEAM CHALLANGE: Jericho/Rock vs RVD/Shane. Early on, Y2J had Shane down, but as Jericho went for the Lionsault, RVD nailed him with a boot to the face. RVD & Shane then isolated Jericho, but Y2J finally tagged in Rock. The battle continued, and Y2J was able to lock RVD in the Walls of Jericho on the outside! But Shane snuck up from behind and bulldogged Y2J off the steps, knocking Jericho out. Back in the ring, RVD hit Rock with several kicks, and then went for the Five-Star Frog Splash, but missed! Rock was now on his own, with Jericho out cold. He knocked Shane out with a spinebuster, and went for the People's Elbow, but RVD hit him before he could do so. Moments later, Rock hit the Rock Bottom on RVD, but Shane saved the Hardcore Champion. A bloody Jericho struggled back to his feet and went to hit Shane with a chair, but accidentally hit Rock. RVD then pinned Rock to win the match! BACKSTAGE: RVD & Shane w/ The Alliance. RVD and Shane celebrated their win, and Stephanie joined them in celebration, as did many other members of the Alliance. The group chanted "RVD" as they walked by Stone Cold's locker room. WWF NEW YORK: Lance Storm & Ivory. Lance Storm and Ivory predicted that Stone Cold would win the World Wrestling Federation Championship on RAW. BACKSTAGE: Jericho & Rock. EMTs checked on a bloody Chris Jericho. Rock approached him and asked what he was thinking out there, and Y2J said he was thinking about hitting Shane with a chair. As Rock walked away, Jericho said he was just trying to win the match. Rock heard him, and said Jericho should just be a man and accept responsibility. Jericho said maybe he should have just knocked the People's Eyebrow right off Rock's face! Rock then challenged him to do so -- and Jericho nailed The Rock right between the eyes! Referees and officials had to separate Y2J and the People's Champion! WWF LHW TITLE MATCH: XPac vs Scotty Too Hotty. Scotty nailed the Worm, but X-Pac got his foot on the ropes as Scotty went for the pin. Moments later, X-Pac raked Scotty's eyes and hit the X-Factor to score the pin and retain his title. INTERVIEW: Michael Cole & Debra. Cole was then waiting to talk to Stone Cold, but Debra walked out of the locker room instead. Debra said that her husband had changed his mind, and didn't want to talk to Cole. She then said that she was looking for Commissioner Regal's office, and asked Cole where it was. He told her, and she went to talk to Regal. MATCH: Lita vs Mighty Molly. Lita went for the Twist of Fate, but Molly powered out of it. Moments later, Molly upset Lita, pinning her with a roll-up! After the match, The Hurricane came out to congratulate his sidekick! After the bout, the two went to the parking area, where Hurricane said that they were going to leave on the Molly-mobile, as he called it for one night only! COMMISSIONER'S OFFICE: Commissioner Regal & Debra. Debra entered the commissioner's office, and told Regal how beautiful his office was. She asked him about his ruling about not allowing Alliance members at ringside. She said that surely he wasn't talking about her. Regal asked if she had baked any cookies today, and when she said no, Regal said she should go do it now -- since she was indeed barred from ringside for the title match! INTERVIEW: Michael Cole & Kurt Angle. He asked if Angle was worried, and Angle said that at SummerSlam, Stone Cold had learned that he couldn't beat him, and that at Unforgiven, Angle learned that he could def initely beat the Rattlesnake. Hand under the rope or not, Angle said that Austin was tapping. Angle said "Oh hell no" -- Stone Cold would not take the Federation Championship from him! He said he would let his actions speak for themself. THE MAIN EVENT WWF TITLE MATCH: Kurt Angle vs Stone Cold Steve Austin. Surprisingly, Debra headed to the ringside area shortly after her husband did, taking a seat near the timekeeper, and clearly def ying Commissioner Regal's orders! Moments later, the commish came to ringside and grabbed her by her ear, demanding that she return to the locker room! Regal said that he would be sitting at ringside to make sure that things went smoothly from then on in the bout. As Austin got face-to-face with Regal, Angle's music hit, and it was time for the title match to begin! The slugfest began outside the ring, as the crowd chanted "U.S.A.!" The Rattlesnake hit the Thesz Press early, and measured the champion with an elbow. Moments later, Angle hit a Thesz Press of his own! Angle then seemed poised to go for a Stunner, but Austin reversed it. Angle then countered into an ankle lock, but the Rattlesnake made it to the ropes! The fight again spilled to the outside, as Angle bounced Austin's head off the announce table, and Austin shoved Angle into the ringpost. After throwing Austin onto the announce table, Angle ripped away some of the padding from the outside, exposing the concrete floor. Stone Cold battled back, ramming Angle's head on the ring steps, before he threw the champion back into the ring. The challenger was now in control, although Angle refused to stay down. The Rattlesnake went to work on Angle's left knee, before wearing him down with a sleeper. The chants of "U.S.A." served to rejuvenate Angle a bit, but Austin made sure the champion stayed down. Austin went for the Stunner, but Angle rolled him up and scored a near-fall. Soon after, Angle locked Austin in a sleeper of his own, but Austin countered with a jawbreaker. The two slugged it out for a bit before Austin again locked Angle in the sleeper. Angle again powered out, and scored a series of near-falls on the Rattlesnake. Austin soon threw Angle over the top rope and to the outside. The Rattlesnake went for a steel chair, but Commissioner Regal grabbed it away from him. Austin went for another one, but Regal again grabbed it away. Austin then took Angle over to the exposed concrete and went for a piledriver, but Angle countered it into a backdrop! Back in the ring, Angle continued the attack on Austin, but the Rattlesnake was able to nail Angle with a spinebuster. Austin locked Angle in a Boston Crab, but the champion made it to the ropes. Austin pulled Angle away from the ropes, but Angle again made it over to the ropes, causing Austin to jaw off to referee Earl Hebner. Using his second wind, Angle assaulted the Rattlesnake with clotheslines and punches. Austin tried to go airborne, but Angle caught him with a series of suplexes. Stone Cold finally broke out of the suplexes with a low blow. Austin went for the Stunner, but Angle countered, and Stone Cold shoved him right into the ref. Austin then went outside the ring for the Federation Championship, but Regal followed him into the ring and grabbed the title from Austin. Shockingly, Regal then nailed Kurt Angle in the face with the title belt! Regal then helped Hebner to his feet to count the pin, but Angle kicked out of the fall! A livid Austin and a shocked Regal questioned what it would take to put Angle down. Austin then hit the Stunner, and Hebner counted the fall, as Austin became Federation Champion for a sixth time! 	90Min	10.15.01	KICKOFF: Commissioner Mick Foley, Trish Stratus. Foley began by saying he came out to set the record straight. Ever since Linda McMahon named him Federation Commissioner, a few of his friends have asked him why he would take a job that fed him a steady diet of pain and misery. He recalled how Mr. McMahon ended his last tenure as Federation Commissioner. The truth was that Foley did not come back for Mr. McMahon, and he did not care where the owner was. He didn't come back for the money or to plug any books (though he did get in a plug for his new book, "Halloween Hijinx"). He said that he came back for the fans -- to listen to the fans -- which was why he made the Triple Threat main event match for No Mercy featuring Stone Cold Steve Austin, Kurt Angle and Rob Van Dam. He added that there was no reason to stay home scratching his butt, when he could scratch his butt "right here in Ottawa, Canada." Suddenly, Canada's own Trish Stratus made her return to RAW Trish said that the reason Foley came back was because Trish needed a little Commish and Foley needed some Stratusfaction! She asked, "Who else looks good in lingerie besides Stacy Keibler and Torrie Wilson." When Foley incorrectly answered Pat Patterson, Trish disrobed and showed off her black one-piece! In closing, Foley guaranteed the fans more great Triple Threat matches, more Lingerie matches, and more Stratusfaction, before telling everyone to have a nice day! ALLIANCE LOCKER ROOM: Stone Cold & The Alliance. Stone Cold said that he knew everyone was concerned with what was going on in his career, and that he was cool with the Triple Threat match at No Mercy. Austin wanted to talk about RAW, and who the Alliance would choose to be his partner in his tag team match later against Kurt Angle and a mystery partner. Austin had Debra pass around paper and pencils so the Alliance members could vote. The Rattlesnake encouraged them to vote for who they really think deserved to team with him. Booker T chimed in by saying it'd be an honor to have Austin team with the five-time WCW Champion, and then the voting began! BACKSTAGE: APA, Jacky & Nidia - Hurricane Helms/Mighty Molly. The APA welcomed WWF Tough Enough Champion Nidia (accompanied by Jacqueline) to RAW and invited her to join them ringside for their match later that night! Faarooq then saw The Hurricane and Mighty Molly. Hurricane accused the APA of charging citizens for protection, and then he pulled down the APA office with rope tied to the Hurricycle! An angry Bradshaw warned everyone to stand back, because there was an ass-kicking coming though! HANDICAP MATCH: The Big Show vs The Dudley Boyz w/ Stacy. Right off the bat, D-Von and Bubba Ray attacked the Show, but Show rebounded by tossing both Dudleys out of the ring. The Dudleys recovered to administer a tandem back suplex to Show and soon hit him with the Wassup Drop while Stacy distracted referee Mike Chioda. However, Show came back to suplex both Dudley brothers and chokeslam D-Von! But instead of going for the pin, Show grabbed a table and threw it into the ring! D-Von was all set to taste wood until Bubba Ray nailed Show with the Federation Tag Team Championship belt while Stacy again distracted Chioda. Show was then covered and the Dudleys earned the win. After the match, Tajiri attacked the Dudleys! Bubba Ray and D-Von recovered, however, and the Japanese Buzzsaw was about to experience 3-D through a table, but Tajiri came back. He delivered a roundhouse kick to D-Von and sprayed Bubba Ray with his green mist! That gave Show the opening to put Bubba Ray through the table! ALLIANCE LOCKER ROOM: Stone Cold & The Alliance. The votes were sealed in a box presented to Austin by Shane McMahon, Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley and William Regal. Before everyone left, Debra gave Austin her vote, but when Austin was left alone, he looked at Debra's vote with disdain and threw it on the ground! IN THE RING: The Alliance. Followed by the Alliance, Stone Cold came to the ring to find out who would be his tag team partner against Kurt Angle and a mystery partner. But first, Stephanie addressed the crowd, saying that she was amazed at how gullible the fans really were. She said that the people cheered like Linda McMahon was the nicest person in the world, but on SmackDown!, Linda ended someone's livelihood -- and took pleasure in it -- by firing William Regal. Steph then said that the Alliance was about warmth, good feelings and positive experiences. Steph's brother, Shane, said that the world was about to witness not a firing, but a hiring. It was his honor and privilege to announce the Alliance's first commissioner, William Regal! Regal said that he was proud to be the new Alliance Commissioner, and he joined the organization because it was the rising force in sports entertainment. Stone Cold then took the mic and thanked Regal for his support, and then said it was time to tally the votes. But first, he welcomed Rob Van Dam to the fray. Kanyon voted for Rob Van Dam. However, Chuck Palumbo, Test, Mike Awesome, Raven, Tommy Dreamer and Billy Kidman all voted for Booker T. So the five-time WCW Champion was voted to tag with Stone Cold Steve Austin! A happy Booker thanked Austin and the Alliance for finally showing him some respect, and told Austin that he was going to be proud teaming with him. Austin then approached RVD, and repeated that he got just one vote. But Austin said RVD truly deserved to be a champion and get a shot at The Rock's WCW Championship! Shane and Stephanie didn't seem to agree, however. Austin explained that if RVD def The Rock, he would go into No Mercy as the WCW Champion and def end the title against Chris Jericho. Alliance Commissioner Regal agreed with Austin and ratified the match! MATCH: APA w/ Jackie & Nidia vs Hurrican/Storm w/ Molly & Ivory. Molly tried standing up to Faarooq, but he tagged in Jackie, who hammered away on the mighty one! Bradshaw then proceeded to clean house, and caught Hurricane and hit him with a fall-away slam. Hurricane then attempted a clothesline, but Bradshaw hit his clothesline from hell to pin the superhero! BACKSTAGE: RVD, Billy Kidman, Tazz. Rob Van Dam was getting taped up for his WCW Championship match against The Rock when Billy Kidman told RVD that everyone really voted for RVD to team with Austin. Tazz told Kidman that he should show Austin a little more respect. Kidman sarcastically asked Tazz if he would run and tattle on him. Tazz then challenged Kidman to a match! INTERVIEW: Jonathan Coachman & Kurt Angle - The Undertaker. The Coach asked Kurt Angle if he found himself a partner. Angle said that he was weighing his options when the Undertaker chimed in and said that his partner was already chosen! So the main event became Austin and Booker T against Angle and the Undertaker! INTERVIEW: Michael Cole & Chris Jericho - The Rock. Michael Cole then asked Chris Jericho who he'd rather face at No Mercy. Jericho said that in order to win the big one, he'd have to beat the Great One, so he hoped The Rock would win. Jericho added that he knew he could beat The Rock. Rock then interrupted, and said Y2J could never help The Rock. The People's Champion added that he knows he could beat Jericho. Rock told Jericho twice to stay out of The Rock's way. Jericho said that this was getting good! WCW TITLE MATCH: The Rock vs Rob Van Dam. Jericho joined J.R. and Paul Heyman at the announce table for Rock's WCW Title def ense against Rob Van Dam. Y2J explained he was there to see first-hand who he would face at No Mercy. Jericho concurred with J.R. that RVD can be easily manipulated, which first Stephanie and now Austin was up to. Preceded by Van Dam, The Rock entered the ring. Van Dam took the fight to the outside, but Rock fought back with a right hand and rammed Van Dam's head on the announce table. Van Dam, though, returned the favor, threw Rock back into the ring and landed a kick off the top rope directly on Rock's chest. RVD continued to hammer away with his unorthodox offense until he missed a split-legged moonsault. Rock scored with a flying forearm, ducked a roundhouse and nearly pinned RVD after a DDT. RVD then blocked a Rock Bottom attempt before being caught in a spinebuster. Moments later, Van Dam's attempt at Rolling Thunder was blocked by The Rock, who threw Van Dam outside the ring and repeatedly rammed his head on the announce table. Van Dam recovered and went for a chair, risking disqualification. But in the ring, Rhyno interfered and hit Rock with the Gore! Van Dam then went for the Five Star Frog Splash, but Jericho pushed him off the top rope to force the disqualification, explaining that the outcome of the match was his business. RVD and Rhyno then beat up The Rock, but this time Y2J did not interfere, explaining that he respected Rock's wishes to stay out of his business! It took three officials to save The Rock, but not before RVD nailed Rolling Thunder! BACKSTAGE: Stephanie & Rhyno. An angry Stephanie told Rhyno how upset she was that Chris Jericho foiled her efforts and that Rob Van Dam is still going after the Federation Championship, while Y2J still had his shot at the WCW Title at No Mercy! She added that not only was she mad, but that Austin was also angry. She told Rhyno that his job was to beat Jericho and end his career! Rhyno assured her that Jericho would not make it to No Mercy. After he walked away, Stephanie said that he'd better be sure! MATCH: Tazz vs Billy Kidman. The Red Hook native had the size and strength advantage, but Kidman utilized his quickness gave him an early advantage, and quickly scored the upset after a face slam! MATCH: Rhyno vs Chris Jericho. With his mission clear, WCW U.S. Champion Rhyno went one-on-one with Chris Jericho. An intense, physical battle was controlled by the man-beast until he missed a splash. Jericho quickened the pace with a couple of takedowns until Rhyno caught him with a belly-to-belly suplex. But Jericho cradled Rhyno by the leg and locked him in the Walls of Jericho. However, Mike Awesome and Raven attacked Jericho by orders of Stephanie! But in came The Rock, who cleared the ring of the Alliance members before Rock Bottoming Jericho! WWF NEW YORK: Diamond Dallas Page. Diamond Dallas Page announced that D-D-P was in N-Y-C, and that was a good thing, because the alternative would be to be stuck in Canada. He then said that like audience in New York, the Canadians were a terrible audience, and he wasn't going to let their negative energy affect his positivity! MATCH: Edge vs XPac. X-Pac had Edge set up for the Bronco Buster, but his showboating cost him when Edge nailed him with a spear. After several near falls, Edge blocked the X-Factor and hit his Impaler to earn the win six days before his Ladder match against Christian at No Mercy! J.R. then left his announce position to whisper something to Edge, which caused Edge to suddenly run backstage. BACKSTAGE: Edge - Christian... Hugh Morrus & Chuck Palumbo. When RAW returned from a break, Edge found Christian and told him that the police called to say that their mom was in an accident. Christian asked why he wasn't told first, but Edge explained that it didn't matter. Suddenly, Hugh Morrus and Chuck Palumbo asked Edge where he was going. It turned out to be a set up as Christian, Morrus and Palumbo attacked Edge. Christian told Edge there indeed was an accident -- when their mother gave birth to Edge 27 years ago! RINGSIDE: Paul Heyman. Paul Heyman then proudly announced that despite the fact that the man was mearly a Canadian, he wanted to be the first man to inform everyone that there was a new member of the Alliance -- Christian! BACKSTAGE: Undertaker & Kurt Angle. The Undertaker impaitently waited for Kurt Angle outside his locker room. Angle finally emerged wearing a stars-and-stripes bandana and sunglasses! Taker asked if Kurt was going to take the stuff off before entering the arena. THE MAIN EVENT: Undertaker/Kurt Angle vs Stone Cold/Booker T. Taker and Angle immediately went to work on Austin and Booker on the outside. Once back in the ring, Booker got caught in an Angle belly-to-belly suplex, and Undertaker unloaded until Booker met him with an elbow. When Austin tried to show up the Dead Man, Taker grabbed him by the throat, but was double teamed by Austin and Booker. Booker floored Taker with a scissors kick, but was met with a Taker clothesline following a Spinneroonie. Angle then went to work on the Bookerman until Booker sidestepped Angle to force the Olympian to the outside, where he was pummeled by the Rattlesnake. After a series of chops, Austin was caught in an Angle sleeper, but escaped with a jaw breaker. When Austin went for the Stunner, Angle locked him in the Ankle Lock, but Booker saved Austin. Angle also refuted a second Austin attempt before they simultaneously clotheslined each other to the canvas. Angle was able to tag in the Undertaker, who hit everything in sight. When he threw Booker in the corner, the five-time WCW Champion crashed into referee Tim White. Taker nailed Austin with a clothesline that sent him out of the ring, and set up Booker for the Last Ride. But Test suddenly appeared and chop-blocked Taker's leg. Angle fought off Test and Booker until he was leveled with a big boot. Test and Booker double teamed the Undertaker, but Kane made the save and he fought Test through the crowd, and Taker and Booker soon followed. Back in the ring, Austin hit Angle with the Federation Championship. WCW referee Charles Robinson came in to make the count, but Angle kicked out, and Austin assaulted his own referee! Austin got a low blow in and Rob Van Dam came out to hit Angle with a Five-Star Frog Splash! Austin covered Angle, and Alliance referee Nick Patrick appeared to to administer count Angle out and give the win to Austin. The Rattlesnake stared in amazement at RVD as RAW went off the air! Although the two had reportedly been going through divorce proceedings for the past 10 months, they seemed to be quite the happy couple as they made their way to the ring. Vince introduced his wife to a huge ovation, and admitted that he had been busy over the past two and a half months, going through a lot of therapy in the process. He said he had sat back and watched Stephanie and Shane try to dismantle the greatest sports-entertainment franchise ever created -- but he wasn't going to sit back any more. He said tonight, he would take care of some business. But first, he said he needed a personal jump start. Vince was then about to kiss his wife, when Shane McMahon and Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley walked out to the stage, looking like they were about to puke. Shane said it made him sick to see two old people kiss. Stephanie told her parents -- who she called old prunes -- to dry up and blow away. She told her parents to move to Florida with the rest of the elderly people. Vince said they'd thought about that, but that now probably wasn't the time. He said he and Linda hadn't had everything handed to them on a silver platter, unlike Shane and Stephanie. He said they had earned what they had by taking calculated risks, and Vince was in Kansas City to take another calculated risk. Vince said he'd had it with this Invasion crap. He suggested that it come to a head once and for all. He suggested that Survivor Series should really be a matter of survival. He said that one match would determine which entity would finally survive. He proposed a winner-take-all, survival of the fittest contest. Shane and Stephanie talked in private for a moment. Shane said he would be happy to put it all on the line at Survivor Series. Vince then proposed that tonight should be the beginning of the end for the Alliance. He said they had done a good job of acquiring championships, but it was time to end that too. He said he wanted to talk about Stone Cold Steve Austin, but Shane cut him off, pointing out that Vince had blasted Austin in the back of his head with a chair, giving Austin a concussion and 12 staples, and rendering the Rattlesnake unable to compete. Stephanie said that new WCW Champion Chris Jericho would be there to compete on RAW. But Vince cut her off and said that since Austin wasn't there, Y2J was already booked in a tag match to beat the Dudley Boyz and bring the Tag Championship back where it belonged. He then named Jericho's tag partner for the night -- The Rock! Shane then threw out a challenge of his own. Shane said he would kick Vince's ass right then and there, and Shane was walking to the ring when WCW Commissioner William Regal came out to try and stop him. Vince asked what was stopping Shane, and Shane said that he wouldn't do it in front of Linda. Linda then grabbed the mic and asked Vince what had happened to their kids -- where had they gone wrong? She said her daughter was a man eater, and their daughter was a wuss. WOMANS TAG: Lita/Trish vs Ivory/Molly. The opening match on RAW was a divas tag match-up, as Lita and Trish Stratus took on Mighty Molly and Ivory. At one point, Trish nailed Molly with a stunning top-rope hurricanrana! Lita soon hit Ivory with the Twist of Fate, and then nailed the moonsault to score the pin! WINNERS: Lita & Trish Stratus. BACKSTAGE: Vince/Linda & Rob Van Dam. Vince and Linda talked backstage, and Rob Van Dam entered their locker room. Vince introduced RVD to Linda, and then said he wanted to talk business. Vince said the Federation was his life, and said he wanted RVD to be part of his company. RVD said he didn't know, and didn't like all the talk about taking sides. Vince said that RVD was either with him or against him, and asked what it was going to be. RVD said he was fine where he was at right now -- just being RVD. Vince said that with all due respect, tonight, RVD could def end the Hardcore Championship against the Big Show. RVD seemed worried at the proposition. BACKSTAGE: Matt Hardy & Trish Stratus (enter Lita). Matt Hardy walked backstage, and knocked on a door, looking for Lita. Instead, he found a nearly naked Trish Stratus. Trish said she hadn't seen Lita, and Matt congratulated her on the win. Trish then excused herself to take a shower, and Matt smiled. Lita then walked in, and Matt congratulated her on the win. Lita said she would go shower, but Matt stopped her, and said they should go find a secluded area and shower together. Lita said she liked the idea. COMMISSIONERS OFFICE: Commissioner Regal & Commissioner Foley. Commissioner Foley entered Commissioner Regal's office, and started throwing his stuff all over the place, and setting up his own stuff! Foley said they should share an office to enjoy all the action on RAW. Foley said he had made a few matches, including Tajiri against Kidman for the WCW Cruiserweight Title, and Bradshaw against The Hurricane for the European Championship. Mick said they should vow to have no run-ins and clean finishes too. He then set up Sarge and his game of Connect Four as Regal stared on in shock! BACKSTAGE: Kurt Angle & Edge (enter Rhyno). Kurt Angle congratulated Edge on his IC Title win at No Mercy. Angle said he never really liked Christian anyway, that he was the world's ugliest pretty boy. Edge said imagine how ugly he would be after the con-chair-to on top of the ladders. As they walked, Rhyno gored Edge into a steel door! COMMISSIONER'S OFFICE: Commissioner Regal & Commissioner Foley. Foley and Regal watched on, and Regal laughed at what had happened. Foley suggested that Regal make a match with Rhyno putting the U.S. Title on the line against Angle. Regal made the match, saying Rhyno would rip Angle apart! WCW CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: Billy Kidman vs Tajiri w/ Torrie. Paul Heyman made note of the fact that Kidman and Torrie are former flames. Tajiri used his educated feet to wear down the champion, and scored with the handspring elbow. Tajiri also soon locked Kidman in the Tarantula! But Kidman ducked when Tajiri went for the kick to the head, rallying back with a sit-out powerbomb. Moments later, Tajiri nailed the kick to Kidman's head and scored the pin to capture the title, much to Torrie's delight! WINNER: Tajiri (NEW WCW CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPION!) IN THE RING: DDP (enter Kane). Diamond Dallas Page made his return to RAW, sporting a huge smile for the Kansas City crowd. Page he had come to deliver a message they could all relate to -- losing! He said he also had a message for all the superstars who lost at No Mercy. He said those superstars needed to know that losing wasn't a bad thing -- it was a good thing! He said that when you lose, you learn -- you learn to eat smarter, train harder, and improve the way you live your life. Suddenly, out came Kane! Kane -- who lost to Test at No Mercy -- stared down DDP, who shouted, "It's Kane!" DDP said that Kane's interruption wasn't a bad thing, it was a good thing, because Kane was a perfect example of his message tonight. He pointed out Kane's loss to Test, and that Kane had been on the losing end most of his life. He pointed to Kane's face for example. He said -- with a smile -- that Kane had mangled flesh for a face. But he said that was a good thing, because Kane got to wear a mask all the time! He said people loved masks! Page said the coolest thing was that no one could see what Kane really looked like, which was good, because women would vomit and children would scream. That was all Kane could take. He grabbed DDP and gave him a monstrous chokeslam! WCW US TITLE MATCH: Rhyno vs Kurt Angle. Rhyno def ended the U.S. Title against Kurt Angle. As the crowd chanted "USA," the two men did some trash-talking and then hooked it up. Rhyno initially targeted Angle's neck and ribs, wearing down the Olympic hero. Rhyno even set up Angle in the corner and gored him up against the turnbuckles! Soon after, Angle went for the ankle lock, but Rhyno got to the ropes. Rhyno tried to wear Angle down with a series of sleepers, but Kurt battled back, nailing Rhyno with a series of suplexes. Angle soon nailed the Olympic slam, but was too weak to capitalize right away, so the match continued. Angle then went for a moonsault but missed, and Rhyno hit the Olympic hero with a gore, as both men were knocked to the outside. Rhyno threw Angle back into the ring, and went for the pin, but shockingly, Angle kicked out of what was the second gore he took in the match-up! As the "USA" chants continued, Angle locked on the ankle lock, and Rhyno tapped out! WINNER: Kurt Angle (NEW US CHAMPION!) WWF EUROPEAN TITLE MATCH: Hurricane Helms w/ Molly vs Bradshaw. Hurricane was clearly at a size disadvantage against Bradshaw, and was hoping to utilize his Hurri-powers to overcome that disadvantage. Molly tried provoking Bradshaw on the outside, but the big Texan was focused on the champion. Hurricane soon got cocky, and tried to use power moves on Bradshaw -- but Bradshaw just outmuscled The Hurricane! Molly soon went up top and flew, but Bradshaw caught her and tossed her around like a rag doll! Hurricane then went for a clothesline, but it didn't affect Bradshaw. Bradshaw then nailed the Clothesline from Hell to win the European Championship! WINNER: Bradshaw (NEW EUROPEAN CHAMPION!) COMMISSONER'S OFFICE: Commissioner Regal & Commissioner Foley. Foley bragged to Regal in the commissioners' office, and told Regal that it was a hell of a night for the Federation. He said that he would give Hurricane a title rematch. Regal said the Federation might be on a role, but RVD would retain, and so would the Dudleys. Foley then shouted "Connect Four!" and when Regal pointed out that Foley was playing with himself, Foley laughed about what Regal had just said! TAG TEAM MATCH: Undertaker/Kane vs Booker T/Test. Test hit the boof to the face on Taker, but Kane broke up the fall. From there, the Alliance isolated Undertaker, but Taker was soon able to tag in Kane, who cleaned house! The Big Red Machine even gorrilla-pressed Test over his head! The match deteriorated into a pier-six brawl, with Test and Kane remaining in the ring. Kane hit a neckbreaker, but Booker broke up the pinfall. With Taker outside the ring -- after being thrown head-first into the steps -- Kane hit a chokeslam on Booker. He was about to hit one on Test, but Test powered out and went for the pumphandle. But Taker kicked Test, Kane reversed, and hit the tombstone on Test to score the pinfall! WINNERS: Undertaker & Kane via Pinfall. BACKSTAGE: RVD & Big Show. RVD was walking to the ring when he ran into the Big Show. He looked in awe at the size of his challenger, and the two men then headed to the ring for their Hardcore Title match. WWF HARDCORE TITLE MATCH: Rob Van Dam vs The Big Show. Big Show used his size to his advantage in the early-going. Show looked for the chokeslam early on, but RVD kicked his way out of it. The fight spilled to the outside of the ring, where RVD used his aerial assault to wear down the Show. RVD went under the ring and grabbed a garbage can and fire extinguisher, along with a steel chair. Van Dam went outside the ring to get Show, but the 500-pounder battled back and gorrilla-pressed Van Dam from the outside into the ring! In the ring, RVD hit Show with a garbage can to the head, which did nothing but anger the big man! Show then punched a chair into Van Dam's head. He went for another chairshot, but RVD blinded him with a fire extinguisher and hit the Van Daminator. A Five-Star Frog Splash later, RVD pinned the Show to retain his title! WINNER: Rob Van Dam, retaining WWF HARDCORE TITLE. WWF NEW YORK: Maven (enter Tazz). Maven welcomed the fans at WWF New York to RAW. He talked about upsetting his mentor -- Tazz -- last Thursday on SmackDown! Maven thanked the Federation for having the opportunity to compete on SmackDown! He said he was a perfectionist, and said he was far from perfect. Maven said he got lucky when he beat Tazz, but had a long way to go. He said he would be going to the Federation's farm system, and would be back one day. Suddenly, Tazz snuck up from behind and choked out Maven! COMMISSIONER'S OFFICE: Commissioner Regal & Commissioner Foley. Foley and Regal talked, and Foley suggested that Tazz was taking too much credit for the success of WWF Tough Enough. He suggested that they put Tazz in the ring with Al Snow on SmackDown! to see who the real star of Tough Enough was, which Regal agreed to! Foley then ran down the night's activities, and said he had a sneaking suspicion that Rock and Jericho would win the Federation Tag Team Championship. LOCKER ROOM: Chris Jericho & The Rock. Jericho was getting ready for the match when Rock entered his locker room. Rock congratulated him on his win at No Mercy, but told Y2J to remember that there would be a rematch one day. But he said tonight, it was about taking the Tag Titles from the Dudleys -- that tonight was about the Federation! He asked Jericho if he was still WWF, and Jericho said he was WWF forever! Rock said that the only thing Jericho had to be concerned with was the two of them laying the smack down on the Dudleys' candy asses! Jericho then gave Y2J a token from their match last night -- the nameplate where it used to say "The Rock" on the WCW Title! Rock laughed, and said he had a gift for Jericho -- seeing as how they would one day have a rematch, he gave Jericho a chair, saying he would need it the next time they met up! WWF TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH: The Dudley Boyz w/ Stacy vs The Rock & Chris Jericho. Despite their earlier tension, Rock and Jericho worked together well as the match got underway. But at one point, Y2J tagged in Rock, and the two bumped into each other, creating some tension. Stacy Keibler distracted the ref, allowing the Dudleys to double-team Y2J. The champions were in control, and set their sights on isolating Jericho in their corner and wearing him down. But finally, Jericho made the tag to Rock, who kicked some Dudley ass! He hit the spinebuster on D-Von, and went for the People's Elbow, but Bubba broke it up. The People's Champion laid the smack down on Bubba though, and then nailed the People's Elbow, although Bubba broke up the fall. Jericho hit Bubba with a bulldog, and Y2J went to hit D-Von with a missile dropkick, instead hitting Rock! The Dudleys then threw Jericho to the outside and went for the 3-D, but Jericho tackled Bubba, and Rock hit the Rock Bottom on D-Von, pinning him for the win, much to Shane's and Stephanie's dismay! The Rock and Chris Jericho are the new World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Champions! Rocky presented Jericho with the tag title, and with the WCW Title! World Wrestling Federation Chairman Vince McMahon entering the ring while the entire army of Federation Superstars gathered around the squared circle. Mr. McMahon promised that after Survivor Series, WCW and ECW would be wiped away. Vince then addressed the attack by Shane and Stephanie on Linda McMahon during SmackDown!. Vince warned Shane that father would destroy son later that evening during their Street Fight! Mr. McMahon began introducing the Federation's team of superstars that would battle the Alliance at Survivor Series. The Undertaker, Kane, Kurt Angle, WCW Champion Chris Jericho and his Federation Tag Team co-Champion The Rock comprise the team. Just as Mr. McMahon finished the introductions, Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley's entrance music hit and the Billion-Dollar Princess strolled onto the entrance ramp. Stephanie boldly proclaimed that the superstars in the Alliance were successful as well as smart. She ordered that footage of the SmackDown! attack on her mother be played. When the clip finished, Stephanie asked her father to consider what the Alliance would do to him, Linda and the Federation at Survivor Series. Stephanie told Linda she hoped her mother enjoyed watching Shane wreck his father that evening. With that, out came WCW Owner Shane McMahon. Shane said there couldn't be anything more satisfying than systematically taking his father apart. Actually, Shane said, there was. Shane proclaimed that a member of the Federation would def ect to the Alliance that night! "I'm looking at that person right now," said Shane while gazing over the Federation Superstars flanking a confused Vince at ringside. After a break, Stephanie and Shane went backstage and entered the dressing room of Stone Cold Steve Austin. Stone Cold said there was no way the Federation would figure out who was jumping sides that night. The Rattlesnake put an ear to his wristwatch and said it was time for Shane to open a can of whoopass on Vince that night! IC TITLE MATCH: Edge vs Rob Van Dam. Rob Van Dam displayed his amazing flexibility, but Edge countered with some amazing movements himself. With Edge dazed and lying on the mat, RVD went for a split-legged moonsault. But Edge blocked the move and RVD took a pair of kness to the stomach. Edge hit Van Dam with a spear, but the Hardcore Champion kicked out. Shortly after, RVD missed a Five-Star Frog Splash that Edge dodged! The Intercontinental Champion hit the challenger with a DDT and took the pin. BACKSTAGE: Stone Cold Steve Austin/Debra -- Tazz. Stone Cold laughed while watching the action backstage and said RVD made him sick. Tazz came in and said the suspense was killing him. He had to know who was def ecting that night. Stone Cold asked if Tazz knew what his watch said. Tazz said yes, it was time to tell Tazz who was jumping ship. Austin retorted that his watch was saying it would be nice if Tazz left the dressing room because Stone Cold was getting annoyed. Debra then tried to coax her husband into revealing the traitor's identity, to which he replied, "What?" APA OFFICE: APA & Saturn. The APA were deep in a card game when Bradshaw reminded Farooq that he was a former WCW Champion. Farooq said that was no joke. The men then wondered who was the traitor and asked a third person at the table what kind of hand he had. The camera panned over to Perry Saturn who replied, "Go fish!" Farooq told Saturn his hand wouldn't win in the game the APA was playing. Federation referee Teddy Long interrupted the game to summon the trio to an urgent meeting among Federation Superstars. Farooq and Bradshaw slapped their cards down and went to the meeting while Saturn grabbed an armful of beers and followed. MATCH: Hurricane Helms/Mighty Molly vs Tajiri/Torrie Wilson. Hurricane went for his Eye of the Hurricane finisher early on, but Tajiri dodged and countered with a stiff kick. Both men tagged in their female counterparts and Torrie began throwing Molly around the ring. She even hit Hurricane's sidekick with Tajiri's patented handspring elbow off the ropes. Hurricane rushed to Molly's aid, but found himself locked in the Tarantula! But Molly took advantage and rolled up Torrie for the win. WWF LOCKER ROOM: WWF Roster -- Jericho & The Rock. Y2J said that working in WCW and ECW was the worst experience of his life. He said he loved the Federation and he tried to call out the traitor. He demanded the person reveal his or her identity. The Rock entered the locker room. As the saying goes, Jericho said, finally, The Rock has decided to show up for the meeting. Rocky asked Jericho when he became leader of the Federation. Jericho said he became the leader when he beat The Rock for the WCW Championship. Rock handed Spike his Federation Tag Team Championship Belt. He admitted that Jericho did in fact win the big one, once. The Rock said he was winning big ones back when Jericho was in WCW getting his ass whooped by Juventud Guerrera on Monday Nitro! The Rock said he was with the Federation and threatened whomever it was that planned on jumping to the Alliance that night. The People's Champion proceeded to adjourn the meeting. BACKSTAGE: Stone Cold Steve Austin/Debra -- Commissioner Regal. In his locker room Stone Cold said the meeting held by Federation Superstars was stupid. William Regal came in at the request of the Federation Champion. Stone Cold said it was important for Regal to bring the WCW United States Championship to the Alliance that evening. Austin told Regal to send Angle to the Rattlesnake's dressing room before the match that evening. BACKSTAGE: Undertaker, Kane, Chris Jericho. Chris Jericho broke in on Undertaker and Kane talking in the locker room. Y2J screamed at the Brothers of Destruction for missing the meeting. Undertaker yelled back at Jericho, saying he had no right to call such a meeting. Kane tried to calm his brother, but Jericho broke in and told the Dead Man to settle down. After all, Jericho told Taker, he wasn't the one under suspicion of jumping to the Alliance. Jericho and Taker glared at Kane as RAW broke to commercial. IN THE RING: DDP & The Big Show. Diamond Dallas Page walked into the ring with his trademark grin. DDP told the crowd he had a surprise. He knew who was leaving the Federation and coming to the Alliance. Page said the superstar was huge! Page said it was The Big Show. Page said this was the case because Federation Superstars thought Show was overweight and makes funny noises. But that's a good thing, Page said, because now The Big Show knows his friends are in the Alliance. The Big Show suddenly came out and climbed in the ring. DDP said he liked The Big Show and he knows the big man liked Page. Page was going to help Show like himself. Page went to shake Big Show's hand, but the 7-foot-2, 500-pound Show chokeslammed Page instead! BACKSTAGE: Vince McMahon & Kurt Angle. Kurt Angle met up with Vince McMahon backstage. Angle said he had something very important to discuss. Vince said he knew the topic: Angle was concerned about his title def ense that night. Kurt said that wasn't what it was about. Angle advised Vince that Austin wants to have a meeting with the Olympic Hero and Angle felt Austin should know beforehand. Vince said he didn't trust Austin and gave Angle a funny look. Angle vehemently def ended himself and his loyalty to the Federation. Vince told Angle to have the meeting and he gave Kurt a wooden club he originally planned to use in the street fight. Kurt thanked the chairman and said if Austin gave him any trouble he would knock his head off. WWF TT TITLE MATCH: Jericho/Rock vs Test/Booker T. Booker T and Test took turns pounding on Y2J early in the match. But the WCW Champion managed to work his way out of a jam and tag in the Great One. The Rock began demolishing both men, hitting Test with a DDT and tossing Booker T through the ropes. But Rocky accidentally struck Jericho in the process of wrecking the opponents. Jericho retaliated by smashing the Great One while set up for the People's Elbow! Test tried to take advantage, but Jericho broke up the pin attempt and then begged Rock to make the tag. Rock made the tag, threw Jericho into the ring and hit a Rock Bottom. Rock then turned to walk up the entrance ramp but dashed back to break up Test's pin attempt on Jericho. While The Rock took care of Booker T with a Rock Bottom, Jericho earned the win with the Walls of Jericho on Test. The Federation tandem angrily exchanged words following the match. BACKSTAGE: Kurt Angle & Stone Cold Steve Austin/Debra. Cameras followed Kurt Angle as he faced off against Stone Cold with the 2 by 4 ready to strike. Austin said he could trust him and to put the wood down. Angle relaxed, and Austin asked the Olympic Hero to join the Alliance! Angle asked who was jumping sides to the Alliance that evening. Austin said he could not say. Austin told Angle good luck that night in his match, he also said that he could see The Rock turning, but not himself. Angle said he didn't need any luck and then told Austin to go to hell! Angle stomped away and left behind a very pissed off Rattlesnake. INTERVIEW: Michael Cole & The Rock. Michael Cole caught up with The Rock. The Rock angrily said Jericho had better get ready to get his ass whipped. Cole said he wanted Rock's reaction to Angle's comments that the Great One would be joining the Alliance. A surprised Rocky asked Cole to direct him to Kurt Angle's dressing room. MATCH: Stacy Keibler vs Lita. Lita hit Stacy with a suplex and went for a pin, but the Alliance girl kicked out. Lita soon threw Stacy from the ring and launched a body press toward her opponent. But she missed and crashed into the retaining wall. Matt Hardy came out to his girlfriend's aid, and put her back in the ring. Stacy came up and taunted Matt, who struck Lita with his elbow as he went to strike the stacy. Lita recovered and took the pin, but she left the ring only after screaming angrily at her boyfriend. BACKSTAGE: Kurt Angle vs The Rock. Kurt Angle prepped for his match as The Rock came in and confronted him. Rock asked what Angle was doing talking to Austin. Angle explained that he got permission to talk to Austin from Vince McMahon. Rock said he didn't care and ordered Angle to not question his loyalty. The men stared each other down while Rock asked how he was supposed to know that Angle wasn't the one turning his back on the Federation. "Me? I don't think so," Angle said. WWF NEW YORK: Commissioner Mick Foley. Commissioner Mick Foley proudly displayed his new book, "Halloween Hijinks." Mick said that he made the earlier Federation Tag Team Championship match because Alliance Commissioner William Regal agreed to put the Dudleys' WCW Tag Team Championship on the line against Kane and Taker. US TITLE MATCH: Kurt Angle vs William Regal. William Regal, with new entrance music blaring, entered the ring in an attempt to take the WCW U.S. Championship away from Kurt Angle. Regal's tenacious, physical onslaught was no match for the champion. Angle won the match by forcing his opponent to tap out to the ankle lock. BACKSTAGE: Vince McMahon & The Undertaker. Undertaker was approached in the locker room by Vince McMahon. Vince wished Taker luck in the match for the WCW Tag Team Championship. Taker said that in 11 years he never even got so much as a "Kiss my ass" from Vince. Taker said he knew Vince was worried that either the Dead Man or Kane were going to jump sides that night. Vince, finding himself sandwiched between the two hulking brothers, wished them luck and turned to leave. Taker told Vince the two didn't need any luck, but Vince did. WCW TT TITLE MATCH: Dudleyz w/Stacy vs Kane/Undertaker. The Brothers of Destruction began to pick apart the def ending champions. Kane appeared to have things won when he chokeslammed D-Von. But a distracted referee allowed Bubba Ray to clock Kane with a belt! Moments later, Kane suffered a 3-D that ended the match. THE MAIN EVENT - STREET FIGHT: Vince McMahon vs Shane McMahon. Vince pummeled his son with his bare fists then smashed a steel sign over his boy's head. The beating continued as Vince rammed Shane into the ring steps and the ring post. Shane gasped for breath as his father wrapped an electrical cord around his neck and cut off his son's air. Vince threw Shane into the ring and tossed in a few garbage cans and a kendo stick as well. Vince wound up to smack Shane with a trashcan, but was struck by a low blow. The Boy Wonder took control by repeatedly smashing a trashcan lid over his father's head. Shane set a trashcan on his father's chest, climbed the top rope and launched a Shooting Star Press! But Vince caught wind and moved, causing Shane to land on the trashcan. Mr. McMahon regained the upper hand by cracking his son with the kendo stick over and over again. The brutality continued with Vince knocking Shane outside the ropes. The Federation Chairman cleared the announce table of monitors but met a few trash can lids to the head and a TV monitor to the skull from his son. With his father dazed, Shane crept back into the ring and vaulted to the top rope. Shane launched himself at his father and both men crashed through the solid wood table! Shane gathered his senses and took Vince back into the ring. Vince recovered in time to kick out after a two-count. Shane propped his father in the corner of the ring and assaulted him with repeated blows. In a sickening scene, Shane set a trash can up on his prone father and went to the opposite ring corner where he set out to reenact his amazing feat from WrestleMania X-7. Vince moved at the last second, and suddenly, Alliance and Federation Superstars stormed out to aid their respective leaders. Undertaker gave Booker T a Last Ride. Regal took out Taker. Rock bashed Regal. Austin smacked Rock. And Kurt Angle streamed down to ringside and showed himself as the traitor! He grabbed a steel chair and smashed The Rock in the head with it.
